After deciding to grow my hair out at the beginning of last year. I had a hard decision weather to keep it long or go back to short sides and back again. John Mariano was amazing in aiding in my decision and I decided to keep it long and just get rid of the dead ends and give the hair a little shape. Being a male that has never been to a hair salon before only his local barbers. The guys at T&G made me feel very comfortable and welcomed. Over all it was a great experience.

I have had a wonderful stylist (Sorry it that's the wrong term!) for over a year. I haven't been regularly to a salon for years I decided to treat myself for my birthday and had such a good experience that I kept going every couple of months. Mariano had little instruction from me other than I wanted to keep as much length as possible and as I have horribly fine hair I also wanted to make it look thicker. Each cut was different and all of them were fantastic. Mariano is leaving (which makes me sad) but Michelle who is taking over looked at what Mariano was doing so I am confident that she has an idea what I want. Readings loss is Hertfordshires gain. Excellent service by Freddy once again!! So pleased with my cut and his friendly manner. Took a while however to book appointment as the phone just rang out and then after fourth try the answerphone kicked it but no one called back, but eventually got through. Will definitely continue coming though as when u find a hairdresser who knows you and your hair there is no reason to change ?

This is the second time I have had Monica doing my hair, and both times I’ve been really happy with the result. She listens to exactly what I want and makes it happen, from the style to the colour ect. Always recommends how I should keep my hair healthier too, I love my new hair ! Every time I go back I will be asking for her !

A warm welcome by friendly staff. Asked several times if I would like a drink which was great. Both colourist and stylist friendly and helpful. A very relaxing and enjoyable few hours.

My hairdresser (Holly) was so good. Really listened to what I wanted and styled my hair at the end so beautifully. I felt like I was stepping out of a magazine!!

I have been going to Tony and Guy’s Reading for over 20years and have never had a bad experience. Staff are friendly and experts in their fields. They listen to their customers and give friendly adice. The colourists are brilliant and the senior style technicians skilful. I totally recommend giving them a go.

I enjoyed my time with Monica , she is amazing, she is done my hair as I want, it’s my first visit but I will back again! Also she is very nice and helpful. The girl also in the reception she is professional and very nice. Great stuff really.

Kym is a kind and friendly hair dresser who takes a genuine interest in her clients. Over the years that she has been doing my colours she has always listened very carefully to what I would like and delivered it with excellent results. She is very skilful at colouring hair and I would highly recommend her.

I don't often submit reviews but I feel compelled to comment on my recent experience. I think that I got the haircut that the stylist could do rather than the one I wanted. Yet again my short style ends up too short and poorly cut. And to cap it all, I was sold a product that I didn't want and which was not right for my hair. Nearly £80 poorer, I won't be going again!
