Loved having normal chat along with new style, Hair care advice, mocha and cake available from McMillan charity stall. I’m a busy mum who hardly makes time for herself, so this was a real treat.

Caroline Never disappoints!

If it wasn't for the brilliant stylist (Caroline) I wouldn't be using this salon at all. I think maybe it has had a lick of paint since the new owner took over but it remains tired and shoddy looking both inside and out Not what you expect from a well known brand when you are paying so much. I used to enjoy the massage chair but the message mode wasn't offered so I don't know if it is working. There is only one wash basin downstairs so beware if you are less than fully fit as you have to climb a very steep flight of stairs to more basins. Can't fault the staff who washed hair, made coffee and worked on reception as they were very friendly.

Maria was welcoming, accommodating and highly knowledgeable. I will certainly be requesting her by name from now on. Not only that, she showed me exactly how to accomplish my desired look at home.

Very friendly. Lady who cut my hair was lovely. Gave me exactly what i asked for to my hair and told me what she was using and doing. And the bonus was when i paid it was only £26. A bargain.

Thank you for fitting me in for a last minute appointment. Zoe was very friendly and skilled. She was informative about products but not pushy which is perfect as I have lots of products already and hate going away feeling pressured into buying more! My first visit to T and G and hopefully will be returning

Overall happy with service and final product, but since the salon has changed hands/franchised, it has gone slightly downhill. For example, the removal of some of the sinks and all the massage chairs was disappointing as these chairs used to be a highlight for me and really helped me feel I was getting what I pay for. The prices seem a little higher too which I wasn't aware of before coming to my appointment. I was also given a ticket when I booked which said cut only, and had to check ahead of my appointment that it was definitely my colour too (which it was) so the printed ticket was misleading.

Had an appointment with Maria yesterday. Arrived to be greeted by friendly staff and seated whilst I waited for my appointment time. Maria came and introduced herself and took me to the chair. I was asked if I'd like a drink, from which there is a wide selection to choose. Maria took her time cutting and styling my hair just how I asked for it to be done and was chatty, friendly and professional throughout. Thoroughly recommend this establishment and the stylist. Steve and his team are brilliant! They're always welcoming and friendly, and Steve is a fantastic hairdresser - he encourages me to be brave with my hair, and creates a great, laid back atmosphere for clients. Cannot praise them enough!
