First visit, very good.

Today I had the first ever haircut that I truly hate. Only hope it improves when I wash it in the morning.

Love having my hair done by Natalie, she knows what colours work for me and is happy to spend a while discussing different options. Always pleased with the cut. Cheeky massage in the chair is a bonus whilst having hair washed!

The quality of service I receive at Avant Garde is second to none. From the moment one enters the sleek, clean, and welcoming salon, staff do their utmost to ensure the experience is a pleasure. I'm always delighted by the high standard of finish and trust no other salon to style and colour my hair (and the massage chairs are a decadent bonus!).

Always look forward to my hair appointment. Kat always does a superb job and have a good old laugh at the same time.

I liked the way my hair was cut very conscientious hair dresser will go back to her again.

Due to health reasons I had to have my hair shaved off (25 November 2015). Sam was brilliant in making me feel comfortable in what was a very daunting time for me. She had a chat with me first, and was very patient and did it in stages. I felt like a weight had been lifted off me. At a time when I thought I would be in tears, I came out smiling. Thank you again Sam.

My stylist was Ashleigh who was brilliant from start to finish. I felt she really listened to what I wanted which resulted in a great colour and cut.

Chose the St Martins Avant Garde to get my dark red hair changed to a brunette. Had an initial consultation with Ashleigh about what was possible and to do a strand test to see how easily my dark red would lift out. She was very professional and gave me a really clear breakdown about prices for the various different treatments and colour I would require.

When I came into the salon to start the treatment, I was offered a coffee and had the pleasure of enjoying the massage chair whilst waiting for the lightening agent to take effect. I chose this salon because of the fantastic reviews and I was not disappointed!!

Ashleigh was lovely and a fantastic stylist! I would absolutely recommend her. The £79 I paid for the several hours I was in the salon, which included bleaching, full head colour, and repair /nourishment treatment was completely value for money!! (Very important since I am a student)

The finished result was even better than I had hoped - will definitely return

Today i had my first hair cut in years (very long hair) and was recommended Avant Garde by a friend...it was great! My stylist was friendly and asked me what i wanted and gave me tips on what would look good and what products would work for my hair. I felt well looked after and came out with a smile on my face with great hair. I recommend Avant Garde for anyone who wants friendly, hands on staff and a good atmosphere.

Since moving to Worceter a year ago, I've struggled to find a good hairdresser..and today Naomi was my find of the day & she has been nothing short of lovely & a great stylist!!!

She listened to what I like and wanted whilst suggesting what was needed to refresh my hair!

I have no complaints at all....and I will happily return and trust my locks with Naomi!!!!

I've been coming to this salon for a couple of years now, but my stylist Clare has been amazing. Every time I go to the salon, Clare makes me feel so welcome and always goes the extra mile by looking for new styles for me to try out and even teaching me how to style my own hair at home. I love getting my hair done because I have such a laugh and I always leave feeling great, thank you Clare!

It was the first time I had been to this salon. After having nightmare colours done at previous salons; this one did it perfectly. They spent time understanding what I wanted and looking through pictures. The cut and blow dry was great too. I will be coming back here.

I have been a customer now for over a year, had tried a few salons before but none of them seemed to listen to what I wanted or have continuity with staff.
Naomi, Mandi and Annie usually put up with me now on a weekly basis for blow dry and colours, they are all very professional and a joy to see! I never have to worry now about my hair, I have a busy job and the hours the salon is open fits in well with my needs.

I came here for my first time back in the summer with extremely damaged hair, I saw Lindsey and she was amazing from start to finish she has put my hair back into amazing condition. I recommend her to both my mum and sister. It's now our family salon. She makes the trip to the hairdressers fun, she listens and gives great advice.

I always enjoy coming to get my hair done here. Great service, nice relaxing atmosphere and pleased with my hair at the end.

Very disappointed with my hair appointment last night. It started poorly when I entered the salon to find the cleanliness poor. The hair dresser decided to cut my hair dry ( I had worn it in a bun all day whilst at work so it still had a lot of kinks it in) The colour I am very pleased with (she transformed a very yellow blond to a gorgeous ash colour). However by the time she washed my hair it was 8.45pm (they close at 9pm) so she then rushed the wash (I still have die in it!) and rushed the blow dry. At no point did she check the cut properly, it is still at different lengths, no weight has been taken out, my layers were not touched, my fringe is an awful shape - I would complain however I do not trust them to fix it! I will not be returning or recommending this salon. Cheap cut for a reasonable price.

I would like say I enjoyed my time at the salon today with Alex she made feel relaxed . She was very good at doing my hair takes pride in her work and on having to rush away to put more money I my parking before I got a ticket forgot to leave her a little tip will definitely using this salon again and recommending it to others worth every penny ????

My sister and I have been coming here for some while now and there's a reason. Actually there's a few reasons. Let's start with the friendly atmosphere, always being greeted with a smile and genuinely interested in what's going on with you. We are always listened to about what we want done and when not sure the advice is superb and individualised to what suits me. We always see Annie and Claire and they are totally fab. Cannot speak more highly of this place, well worth coming, highly recommend ! Luce says she loves it millions. ????

Great hair, great music, great way to spend an hour on a Sunday afternoon.

My experience at Avant Garde, having my hair cut by Katherine S. was a lovely one. She cut my hair brilliantly, did exactly what I asked, was totally professional. On top of this she was a delightful person and very welcoming. I could not recommend her more highly.

I booked for a blow dry at the last minute and as I have quite thick, long hair I like to be in & out as quick as humanly possible! Also, I have a hair salon phobia - so you can imagine my anxiety going to a new salon.

The staff were genuinely relaxed & friendly, I felt extremely welcome & relieved. I am soo happy with my blow dry too, it's very glamorous and I LOVE that my stylist knew exactly which Kerastase to wash & treat my hair with, to me, that's the sign of a great salon - all carried out on a very comfy massage chair, no horrible basin cutting into your neck, just relaxation!

Thank you soo much, I just want to also say that it was a relief not to have someone start prying into my life either - I think that's incredibly professional and a relief. x Thank you! x

Cut was fine, massage chair amazing during hair wash. However it's a pet hate of mine to use straighteners to smooth hair rather than a good blow dry.

Fantastic salon Mandi made me feel so welcome loved the massage chair and Mandi did a great job with my hair feeling great when I left keep up the good work

I was given very good advice helped to make a decision about the colour of my hair. I had foils and it was just the colour I had wanted. I found the prices very good for the level of service. Made my next appointment can't wait to go back.

Lovely salon - I would not consider going anywhere else. Although most have preferred stylists, it is the case that I am reassured that any of the stylists would offer excellent quality and service.

It was my first time at Avant Garde. As soon as I walked in I was greeted with big smiles and taken through to the really spacious modern salon by Catherine to chat about what I wanted. Once I'd decided Catherine showed me a lovely cut on the iPad which we both agreed would look good. The hair washing was an amazing experience with a chair that massaged you while you had your hair washed! The cut itself was a joy from start to finish, Catherine was absolutely lovely and I laughed all the way through, I felt really at ease. I would thoroughly recommend a visit to Avant Garde.
