Had my first ever colour today and I'm so pleased! Charley did such a good job and my hair looks better than I could have hoped! I felt looked after and listened too and I'll definitely come back again! :)

Brilliant cut and colour with Ashleigh, I am always very happy when I leave even if it takes me ages to have the courage to cut my hair. Ashleigh always looks after me well and I never walk away disappointed. Thank you Laura Hicks

Catherine was very welcoming and took the time to understand what I wanted whilst also giving advice on what would suit me. I was very happy with the service and cut / finish.

My daughter and I were booked in for restyles, it was explained that I had very long curly hair as we know it takes longer to style. It became obvious in a very short time that I was a 'fit in' because the stylist had to keep leaving me to attend to her other client, I received a vry nice but basic cut-she opted out of giving me layers, sayin it would sit better one length-and decided not to blow dry as it would add volume-this is of course accurate but I am used to having 'big' hair-and sat me under the radiant drier for a short while. She didnt have the time to give me the cut or the blow dry. I left with wet hair and a wet top all down my back where my hair touched! We were still charged the full price and I felt I could have done it myself equally as well. There was no point in my complaining at the time because she was doing her other client, and had I insisted on it she physically couldnt do it! we gave her a tip because she was very competent but had obviously been double book

What can I say?!!! The staff were friendly, the whole atmosphere was relaxing and I enjoyed every minute!! The massaging chair was fantastic!! It was the first time I came out of a salon feeling a million dollars!!! Thanks so so much xx

Lovely new salon in ideal location. Had Kate colour and cut my hair today and was 5* experience. Made to feel very welcome and colour was perfect. Felt alot if attention was given and happy with final result. Would def recommend and go back again. Many thanks.

My daughter and I had a very lovely day in the Worcester city salon. Pampered by Alex a lovely girl with patience and knowledge that helped the hours in there be very pleasant.
My only shock was the cost....not use to salon prices!

Quite disappointed to see grey hairs after had spent over 3 hours in the hairdresser and spent over £150. At the end I was felt really small when I asked for a breakdown which still didn't made sense. Ashley was great but to be fair she wasn't made aware of my booking to dye my hair... Hence having to spin me around her less experienced colleagues. Receptionist on last Thursday didn't took note of my booking to dye my hair, only to cut it... Not a good experience overall.

I found myself unintentionally here today but it turned out to be a great thing. I'm disabled and from the moment i entered i found the staff helpful, understanding and relaxed around me. This relaxed me. Zoe was my stylist. I've had my hair a particular way for a while now and it was nice, Zoe did her magic and now my similar style looks sensational. I'm so happy with the result that, even though its harder to me to get to than my own salon, i'm changing over so Zoe can keep doing my hair. There was nothing wrong before. Just this salon did it better. And i won't need to go as often, a bonus for me due to my disability. I only went along as it was the only way i was going to get my hair cut & coloured when i needed it but i've come out with a great new style, a plan to improve the health of my hair and a big boost in confidence.

It was our first visit to Avant Garde. I had a wash, cut and blow dry and my two girls had their hair trimmed. I was pleased with my cut. Staff friendly and salon clean. Had a lovely massage in the chair whilst having my hair washed. Will definitely go back again.

I have never been to this salon before but will be back. Ashleigh was great and took time to find out what I wanted and liked - and for the first time in 6 years of trying, I have found a hairdresser who knows how to cut my hair. A nice relaxed atmosphere and although I ran over my appointment and hair cut never felt rushed. Love my hair cut and a great customer service.

I felt a little bit uncomfortable when I was paying because I enquired about what evenings I could book and the girls at the desk exchanged a look! Not sure what I said wrong?

Decided to have a change in hair style, and I'm so happy with the outcome of my omber hair. Lindsey is an excellent hair dresser, and someone I would highly recommend to all my family and friends. She is always so professional, with a friendly smile and explains everything she is doing to my hair so I am fully aware of what is going on and can make changes throughout. The only hair dresser I trust with my hair!! Thankyou so much!

This salon is by far my favourite salon to date. The staff are all so friendly and accommodating. Every visit has been hassle free, they take your coat, offer you a drink, provide reading material + are cheerful + polite throughout your stay. An extra bonus to Avant Garde is that so many beauty needs are met, they provide beauty treatments, hair treatments, beauty products + they're even open on Sunday's. I love this place and always look forward to my visit.

I booked online as I was visiting Worcester for the weekend and needed a cut as my regular hairdresser of 25 years has health problems; so after 25 years it was a bit daunting to step into a modern salon! Ashleigh made me feel so comfortable and relaxed, suggested what would be a good style and WOW!! I am so pleased with the results! I would recommend Avant Garde highly! Unfortunately I live 2 hours from here, so not likely to be returning soon!

Today I had the first ever haircut that I truly hate. Only hope it improves when I wash it in the morning.

Love having my hair done by Natalie, she knows what colours work for me and is happy to spend a while discussing different options. Always pleased with the cut. Cheeky massage in the chair is a bonus whilst having hair washed!

The quality of service I receive at Avant Garde is second to none. From the moment one enters the sleek, clean, and welcoming salon, staff do their utmost to ensure the experience is a pleasure. I'm always delighted by the high standard of finish and trust no other salon to style and colour my hair (and the massage chairs are a decadent bonus!).

I liked the way my hair was cut very conscientious hair dresser will go back to her again.

Due to health reasons I had to have my hair shaved off (25 November 2015). Sam was brilliant in making me feel comfortable in what was a very daunting time for me. She had a chat with me first, and was very patient and did it in stages. I felt like a weight had been lifted off me. At a time when I thought I would be in tears, I came out smiling. Thank you again Sam.

Chose the St Martins Avant Garde to get my dark red hair changed to a brunette. Had an initial consultation with Ashleigh about what was possible and to do a strand test to see how easily my dark red would lift out. She was very professional and gave me a really clear breakdown about prices for the various different treatments and colour I would require.

When I came into the salon to start the treatment, I was offered a coffee and had the pleasure of enjoying the massage chair whilst waiting for the lightening agent to take effect. I chose this salon because of the fantastic reviews and I was not disappointed!!

Ashleigh was lovely and a fantastic stylist! I would absolutely recommend her. The £79 I paid for the several hours I was in the salon, which included bleaching, full head colour, and repair /nourishment treatment was completely value for money!! (Very important since I am a student)

The finished result was even better than I had hoped - will definitely return

Today i had my first hair cut in years (very long hair) and was recommended Avant Garde by a friend...it was great! My stylist was friendly and asked me what i wanted and gave me tips on what would look good and what products would work for my hair. I felt well looked after and came out with a smile on my face with great hair. I recommend Avant Garde for anyone who wants friendly, hands on staff and a good atmosphere.
