It's all very well somebody making a policy that you don't cut hair unless you've washed it first and no longer offer dry cuts. But what about those people who have disabilities or are unable to lean back to have their hair washed or simply don't have time to sit and have their hair washed

I am always made to feel welcome, sat down with a nice cup of latte. Then treated to a nice shampoo.
I have extremely fine hair but Aimee always knows how to cut it. She pays attention to detail and it always feels lovely when she’s finished it.
I have been going to Avant Garde for years now and it’s always modern, clean and value for money. I would recommend them!!

Great salon and lovely friendly staff. The massage chairs are a very welcome bonus, I would recommend Aimee - i’ve tried other members of staff but she is definitely my preferred stylist

Fantastic experience as always with Zoe. Beautiful red colour and a really good cut on my very poorly hair after bleaching it myself. Awesome advice on treatments to use at home. I left feeling fabulous. Can't thank you enough Zoe. So knowledgeable, friendly and certainly knows what she's doing. I always trust her to do what she feels is best for my hair. Great atmosphere and wonderful staff. Highly recommended.

I had a wonderful treatment with Lindsey. I booked in for a full head of highlights with a plan to change my brunette hair gradually to blonde. She was so attentive and did more than I imagined in one sitting. My hair turned out so much lighter than expected and felt so healthy too. I can’t wait for my next visit. Zoe has been doing my hair for the last year. She always listens to what I want, and never assumes she knows best just because she’s the hairdresser. Hence I pretty much always get what I ask for. She is a very good hairdresser.

Great result, really pleased with my hair. Had a previous darker colour running through and I wanted to go blonder. Lauren F dedicated a lot of time putting the right amount (lots!) of foils in and the result is a gorgeous blonde colour, just what I wanted. Thanks Lauren!
