Due to previous bad experiences,I was skeptical of my visit to L&W.They came recommended via my new neighbours. I must say they have not disappointed me on any account. The atmosphere was welcoming, friendly and classy. Daniel, one of the owners, is warm, friendly & an expert in hair colour . He gave me the right advise about what would suit me & did not push anything on to me when I was unsure, gave me time to mull over and discuss options. I did not feel rushed and at the same time I did not feel like I was being made to wait for a long while between treatments/processes. Everything was organised and there was no loud blaring music drowning all conversations and taking over the atmosphere. Just the right amount of balance between music, banter, chitchat and peace and quiet. I often like to unwind at a salon so it is important for me that the atmosphere is relaxed and not too noisy. Despite it being busy, I felt complete at ease and was about to doze off at one point. They serve some love drinks and they happen to have some scrumptious brownies today when I went for my appointment . I like to visit a place where people are warm and friendly and Lustig and Webb fit that bill. What I witnessed on the first visit was everyone who worked there took the time to talk and understand what a customer wanted. Even when they made a mixup in bookings, they managed it brilliantly without any drama and the client who was quite annoyed was smiling within 5 minutes. Daniel's partner, Stephen, is a warm and lovely man as well. I would highly recommend Lustig and Webb and they have definitely won me over. Like other salons they don't try to sell and push products on to you. I was advised about the array of products they have at the salon but there was no aggressive sales tactics. I will update if anything changes but I doubt that as it is owned by two lovely men who put customers first. Thank you Daniel for my experience today and my friends and partner have already commented on how beautiful my hair looks!

Daniel has been cutting and colouring my hair for years and always does an amazing job! Everyone in the salon is lovely and friendly and they serve amazing brownies and coffee. It's always a treat to see him and he always manages to make me feel and look better!

Been looking for a decent hairdresser ever since my usual stylist retired a few years ago and have most definitely found one! Steven took the time to listen to what I wanted and then gave me exactly that. Really, really pleased with my new, much improved, hair.

We've been going to Daniel for 10 years now. He always listens to what we wish to do or offers suggestions if we are undecided. We have never left the salon unhappy with the results.

Fabulous consultation and colour by Jackie. I left the salon with gorgeous golden highlights painted on using the trendy Balayage technique. Friendly atmosphere and good value for money. Will definitely be going back

We're very lucky to have such a high calibre salon in Hurstpierpoint. Above all else though, everyone is very friendly, fun and always off a very warm welcome.

First time in a high street salon for a number is years.
Won't be leaving it so long next time.

This was my first time at Lustig and Webb. Had a fantastic cut and blow dry by Daniel. Was very nervous about changing hairdressers but Daniel really listened and asked me lots of questions about how I wanted my hair. Was so happy with my experience I have booked to have my colour done next week.

I have come away with the best colour my hair has ever been.
Daniel is truly a master of colouring hair and understands exactly what you want.
He also guides you into the latest colouring techniques.
His knowledge is very valuable.
The staff are all very welcoming and I always feel like I want to stay longer when it's time to leave.

Very professional helpful accommodating staff who have left me feeling confident about my hair again. The ambiance in this salon is so calming leaving me feeling refreshed and already looking forward to the next visit.

Having decided to go for a short bob to make washing and drying easier post surgery, I was advised by Daniel to keep it long so that it could be tied back in a pony tail and top knot for days when I'm too tired to wash it. Never thought about it and so glad I kept it long! Lovely cut.

Amazing what a fun time can be had when getting a fringe cut into your hair! Daniel managed to cut and style my hair beautifully whilst carrying out an intelligent and amusing conversation with me and a fellow client - great fun, not to mention the delicious coffee and brownie... but let's not forget all the lovely comments I've had about how great my hair looks. What more can you want from your hairdresser ?!

My husband loves it & so do I! I really don't like my naturally curly hair & struggle to find a hairdresser that understands, well today I've found my forever hairdresser! I didn't realise how good it looked until I inspected in the mirror at home. Feeling happy!!!

Having had a disappointing experience at a salon in Brighton, I was anxious about finding a new stylist but Daniel listened to my ramblings and coped admirably, with possibly the fussiest person on earth!!
Daniel and Stephen are an absolute joy. Friendly, down to earth and damn hilarious!
