As always a cheerful friendly service from Gemma whist she returned my hair to a good shape which everyone tells me suits me. The general atmosphere in the salon is friendly and helpful. Makes for a very pleasant visit.

I have been going to Grace for a long time now, it is like it’s my first appointment every time I go. She always has time to discuss my hair and fringe!! She is so kind and caring. A few months ago she put in hair extensions for me which have been amazing. Superb hairdresser

The salon has a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. The stylists, trainees who wash your hair, and the receptionists are always cheerful and welcoming This is my go to salon now.

Could not be happier with my first experience at B & B. I was given a voucher for Father’s Day and what an absolute treat! I was made to feel very welcome from the start and India was very professional and attentive. It was very different to what I’m used to, in a good way! The girl (sorry can’t remember her name!) who washed my hair did a stellar job.

Grace listened to how I wanted my hair and it’s the nicest hair cut and style I’ve had in a long long time. It’s a joy to finally find a good stylist. My 1st of many visits to come. Thank you Grace. 5 plus stairs for Grace. Sadly only 2 stars for greeting.

It is always a pleasure to have Alice cut my hair. She is a calm and friendly person and a super cutter too. She always listens and makes sure she knows exactly what I want and then is flexible enough to alter anything as we go along. The fact that I do a diy between cuts never phases her. Very happy with today’s cut as usual. X

Covid kept me away for a couple of years so first time with Nige having been seeing him prior for 25 years or more. He's still got it, and by it I mean the banter and the cutting skills. Thoroughly enjoyed the cut and the end result is first class! Good to see you again Nige. Mark x

However the price has increased considerably and I am not sure that I can continue as a customer with these prices.

It was my visit since lockdown what with Gemma being away due to maternity leave, and I’ve been making do with sub standard trims elsewhere, very nice to get back to having a professional cut and service.

So many colours to choose from and Mariette is an absolute delight to hand my nails over to. My nails look fabulous.

I went for a bob after having long hair for years so I was feeling a bit nervous about whether it was a good idea. Jenny was brilliant - she really listened to what I had in mind and then gave me such confidence I relaxed. She's also an all-round lovely person. Sophie should wash every stylists hair after they’ve had it coloured. She is the best and I’ve been coming to the salon for about 15 years and had pretty much every stylist! Great pressure, gets all the colour out and no itchy scalp afterwards. Great cut and finish too. Sophie and Alice are perfect to train the newbies ?
