I had my first lash lift at Shear Success and it was amazing. I was apprehensive at first but the lady who did my treatment (Paula) made me feel so relaxed and she explained everything to me. I would recommend Shear Success for both hair and spa treatments, very professional and friendly!

Every moment of being at Shear Success is heavenly. The salon engulfs you with the wonderful Aveda aromas the moment you step in. Every comfort has been thought of the whole way through your experience. The staff are warm and welcoming. The treatments are holistic and powerful. And Poppy... Well, I don't know if she's an angel or a white witch and frankly I don't care! She is such a talented therapist and just the nicest person. Thank you x

Having had the same hairdresser for as long as I can remember, I took a chance and last Friday had my hair done at Shear Success. The staff were extremely friendly, the salon is very classy and if you have neck problems, the chairs at the wash basic lift your legs and are very comfortable. I was asked if I wanted a head and neck massage which was wonderful. I can honestly, I have had the best cut on my hair that I have ever had. Go on treat yourself! You won't regret it. Oh and also, I was given a voucher for money off next two visits. I will definitely be going back.

I love Sheer Success .... it's my first place to go. I didn't have my normal beautician as she was away but who I had was just as lovely.

Visited the salon today for a spray tan with Leanne. Must say I really can't recommend Sienna x 1hour tan enough. Leanne does a brilliant job and is so lovely and makes you feel very comfortable. I'll definitely be returning!

Came to the salon for the first time today. Both my girls had a hair cut and I had a spray tan. All staff were really friendly and accommodating. The girls enjoyed their pamper experience (especially the hot chocolate)

My Sienna X tan is developing nicely. Felt really comfortable and at ease. The colour seems to be a good match. I have 2 holidays coming up where I will be going back to have a tan and there is a loyalty scheme as well but 5 get 6th free.

The salon itself is really modern with lots of wood and bamboo effects. Plenary of product choice as well.

I’ve experienced a stress fix massage at Shear Success, which was bliss but I’ve never had a "Hot Stone" massage. When my therapist, the lovely Leanne, suggested it, I thought now was a good time to try something new, especially since I have a bad, achey back.

Leanne took me through a consultation to see if my needs had changed since my last visit. Then after a relax on the chaise longue and a tasty Aveda tea she took me into the therapy room, which was comfortingly warm.

My treatment started with a glorious foot soak/scrub and moisturising and then Leanne left to me to disrobe and get myself comfy on the heated massage bed.

The massage itself was just bliss. During the massage Leanne confirmed that the pressure was not too rough, the stones not too hot, and checked my overall comfort etc. Felt throughly melty afterwards! :)

It may have been my first "Hot stone" massage, but it definitely will not be my last!

Best salon, best therapist ever... worth every penny to go to this quaint modern but cosy place where the employees are so friendly... there is no pressure and Poppy is just amazing! I wouldn't go anywhere else...
I recently had a facial there too (again with Poppy). It's always a pleasure and pain free experience!

It was my first experience at the salon. I had a hot stone massage, which was a gift from my friend. It was with Lianne and it lasted an hour and 15 mins and she lifted all my stresses and it was a truly relaxing experience. She worked all over the body and it seemed to last for ages I could've stayed all day! She was amazing and I would highly recommend her! Will definitely book again!

First time at this salon/spa, I have had many massages at different places but poppy who looked after me was amazing. At 37 weeks pregnant I had the mother to be massage, poppy got rid of all my aches and pains and I left stress free and happy, I will be returning and highly recommend

Excellent stafff and service, excellent facilities, excellent advise and superb results achieved. I had no need to retouch my hair back at home and I must point out that the hair washing was thorough and felt properly washed and rinsed. Would recommend it highly. Beyond what I expected. I have now changed my usual hairdressers

I've been using this salon for 18 years to have my hair cut, coloured & treated. It's not cheap, but worth every penny I've ever spent here. Once, about 10 years ago I tried a less expensive salon and that was it, never again - paled in comparison.

It doesn't matter which stylist I have, the result is always the same - fantastic. I'm 18 years older but from using this salon and having the treatments on offer (hot towels, heated scissors, gloss etc), my hair is still in as good condition as it was back then. Sometimes I'm so rushed in the mornings, I forget to brush my hair, but the cut is so good, you can't even tell.

This sounds like an advertisement for the salon, it's not. It's a genuine review from a genuine customer, with no vested interest

My daughter had her hair cut today. Have used many hairdressers as her hair is extremely thick, this is the first hairdresser that actually addressed the problem for her. Very pleased. Beautiful salon. Great service.

I love this salon and the staff are very polite and kind. The choice of drink is a bonus but not much in clients who have costs over £100. The only negative is the cost which is way higher than the norm. Over all a five star experience. Too offset cost maybe offer a mini mani or a brow plucking or even some deluxe samples of product.

First time I've visited shear success and definitely won't be the last. A lady called Sahrish restyled my hair and gave me the most amazing blow dry afterwards. Beforehand she she asked what I'd like and gave me some great advice and her honest professional opinion. I can't sing her praises enough and I'll certainly be a regular. I've already booked my daughter in this week with her! Also the young girl (sorry I forgot the name) gave me a lovely complementry massage and samples of the shampoo and conditioner she used. Lovely people, great salon and gorgeous hair!! Thank you!!

I went to shear success for a stress fix massage today. It was my first time at the spa and the staff on reception were really friendly and made me feel welcome as soon as I walked in. Leanne talked me through the different massages and oils prior to the massage to ensure I still wanted the same one I'd booked. The massage was amazing and I would definitely recommend this salon to family and friends. Thank you ladies.
