Very relaxing - wish you didn't have to turn over!! Poppy was very knowledgeable about the products.

This a double review following 2 visits to the salon within 3 days.
The first visit was for my 7 year old sons haircut. Despite not being a regular child's stylist, Katie was brilliant. Very engaging with my son, highly efficient and a brilliant cut. His unprompted response having left the salon was "that was really good dad. Can we come here next time I need a haircut".
The second visit was for myself as a 'model' for their wet shave. Helen was amazing. From initial consultation, offering advice re skin care, followed by a close confident face and head shave, paying lots of attention to detail. Very impressed.
An all round excellent salon.

Had my hair coloured by Anna, she is such a lovely person, took a lot of time with me, made me feel comfortable, loved my end result. Had a really nice welcome neck massage and then later got a hand massage. Loved the hot chocolate drink as well... absolutely loved the whole experience.xx

I regularly use the Clarence Rd salon, and everyone is so friendly and cannot do enough for you. I leave felling relaxed and wonderful. Helen always listens to what I want and gives excellent advice.

I've been a client of Shear Success for well over ten years and every visit never fails to make me feel like a million dollars. From the welcoming as you arrive to the attention to detail. Wonderful customer service, excellent stylists, friendly and happy salon. A visit to the hairdressers is nothing short of pure relaxation. The Spa is also wonderful and well worth a visit.

I have been coming to sheer success now for about 12 months and have been very impressed by the staffs attention to detail - they take their time to listen to your requests and very knowledgable about their products. They take great pride in their work and make me feel very relaxed and confident in them from walking in to leaving the salon. Thank you very much, I highly recommend shear success.

As a bloke, I tend not to bother too much with looking after myself, which worries my wife. So she convinced me to go to Shear Success for a treatment of my choice. I chose the Foot Relieving treatment as years of neglect had led to dry cracked soles and unpleasant toe nails. I was seen by Poppy who made me feel very comfortable and, despite my feet being major tickle areas, gently massaged them back to life without me flinching or kicking out once! I feel like I've been resoled.
Definitely going back in the future for something else to pamper ageing bones.

I booked a full body polish at Shear Success before going on holiday and it was the most enjoyable and relaxing body treatment I have ever had! The setting, service and products were fantastic and my skin felt so smooth and soft afterwards, I chose the stress fix aroma which really helped me to unwind after a busy week.

Another totally perfect aroma massage by Poppy. A thoroughly tailored and relaxing experience and the effect lasted days. Poppy recommended (but did not "hard sell" which would have put me off) the stress-fix composition oil which I purchased and have found to be brilliant.

A lovely massage to relax you, also a complimentary drink and pretzels was a nice touch before a very experienced hair stylist cut and styled my hair. Lovely experience.

Very thorough treatment. Very friendly therapist. Will review waxed areas and hopefully will rebook.

Helen highlighted and trimmed my hair on Thursday and I am absolutely delighted with it.

Always happy with treatments at this salon. Paula does my nails on a regular basis plus pedicure and occasional massage. I cannot fault the service, friendliness and professionalism.

New to the area so had been researching where to go for my beauty needs and had Shear Sucess recommended by a colleague.
Lovely looking salon and spa area, a drink and snack whilst I waited were a nice touch.
Booked in with Paula for my wax, she explained the treatment beforehand and was professional and friendly throughout.
Innitially thought the cost seemed on the expensive side but after having the virtually pain free treatment, complete with preparation and finishing ritual, advice on my own beauty regime and a free skin care sample, the price is justified.
In next weekend to have my hair done, looking forward to it :)

Had lvl lashes done for the first time with poppy and Paula as always have eyelash extensions so this sounded like a great alternative.
It was amazing the results look like false lashes! Really really pleased. Had lots of compliments. Beautiful salon and very relaxing treatment including a hand and massage.

Had eyelashes done by the lovely Paula, long and natural just like I requested so pleased with the result safe to say I will be returning for top ups!

I had a wonderful Aroma Massage with Poppy yesterday. As always the visit was totally relaxing and indulgent and I left feeling fantastic. Poppy was so, so lovely. Really warm, but clearly also an expert in her field. Everything was so good that I've booked the same again for next weekend!

My haircut with Helen starts with a head and shoulder massage which is very relaxing. This is followed by a wash with the nicely scented Aveda products, the haircut is exactly what I had asked for and I am very pleased with my visit to the salon.

I had a cut and finish by Angela, absolutely spot on love the head massage and all the other extras. Best salon in Sutton Coldfield I can't recommend it enough, and don't forget the spa ????????????

I have recently visited Sheer Success with a friend, and we both had a fabulous experience. This salon is definitely about more than just a hair cut or treatment, the staff are lovely and welcoming, lovely refreshments are provided and the whole visit was relaxing and enjoyable. Helen, who cut and styled our hair was absolutely lovely, and we both felt pampered after our visit! Will definitely be visiting again!

Shear Success is excellent for comfort and quality when I need my short hair coloured and cut. The mini massage helps to relax me and I look forward to my regular visit to the salon.

Had my eyebrows and top lip waxed today.It was a very relaxing experience, especially as I had the Avida ritual first.

I used this Salon many years ago for a spray tan and decided to come back to get my nails done. I am 36 weeks pregnant and wanted a salon that wasn't full of smelly nail chemicals etc so this was perfect. Paula made me feel very comfortable and explained all the treatments and other services that they offer as I asked why the salon had so many rooms. I was amazed at all the different services and I cannot wait to go back and treat myself once my baby has been born. A relaxing, professional and comfortable salon offering lots of services at a reasonable price.

I had my hair cut at Shear Success this morning the service was great and every one was so friendly I felt comfortable and was able to discuss what hair style I would like we looked at pictures on the iPad and I was able with help from my hairdressers choose a style the cut was beautiful and it really suits me.
