I was very nervous going to get my hair cut, hadn’t in years been to a salon, but this one is different, so relaxing and friendly, Gemma is absolutely bursting with knowledge and experience! So pleased with the outcome and I will definately be back! Thank you ⭐️⭐️

Gemma and the team have been taking care my curls for a few years now, I have not loved a group or salon more than It's Science... So much so, I bring my curly kids. I trust the team implicitly and love them dearly... We would NEVER go anywhere else x

I have never been a repeat customer at a hairdressers and I'm on at least my 5th visit to 'Its Science'. Shanelle always nails my hair goals and gives me a perfect colour that grows out seamlessly.
The salon has a relaxed atmosphere and frequently all the customers and hairdressers have conversations with each across the table. However, if you need to get on with some work I have seen people bring their laptops and busy themselves while their hair processes. Its a lovely space and well worth a visit

My stylist was Emma. She and the salon were lovely, we chatted about what I was after and went from there. It is such a comfortable environment.

Millie was so lovely and chatty, she really made me feel at ease.

Had an appointment today with Louise. Haven’t been to a hair salon for years and the fact there are no mirrors here really appealed to me. Lovely staff and such a great haircut. Will definitely be returning.

I had very high hopes but Unfortunately, I was disappointed with my experience. I didn’t feel comfortable during the appointment and, for £67, I didn’t feel the service or finished result met my expectations. Sadly, I wouldn’t return.

My 10 year old always loves visiting the salon, and this visit was her favourite so far! Even on a busy Saturday, her request for a fairly big chop and style was listened to patiently and Millie even went back in for a second trim after checking in on how the length was feeling. Styling on point as always, and the vibes are always super welcoming. You know it’s a great salon when the other clients are kind enough to hype you up when you’re all finished! She walked out grinning so big, worth every penny for a guaranteed good cut and the experience 🩷

She was patient, listened and gave great advice. We came away with a hair cut that was perfect and matched exactly what my daughter wanted. Thank you

Louise took the time to go through what I was looking for & did so well to match my colour to the reference photo. The whole experience was explained to me, including pricing & timing, & nothing was rushed. Excellent service.

After some awful hair experiences recently near my home I went to Gemma who is hands down the best hairstylist ever. She cut my bob and I love it, best haircut I have ever had 😀

She was incredibly kind, patient, and understanding of my daughter's high levels of anxiety, which made such a difference and helped her feel comfortable throughout the appointment. New to the area so I’ve been hairdresser hopping looking for the ONE. And I can honestly say I’ve found it with Its Science. Walked in to book my appointment because I wanted to get a feel for the place and talking to the girls knew it was the place for me. I had the lovely Millie deal with my hair that I might add is long thick and a bit unruly , and she was amazing !!! She listened to me and knew exactly what I wanted , she was a delight. I had a cut and colour and absolutely love my hair and what she done with it. The salon has such a lovely feel all the staff are really friendly and the owner is so welcoming she literally makes you feel like family. I absolutely love this place and I’m so glad I found it. Can’t thank the team enough , a beautiful salon with beautiful people. Thanks all ♥️

Fabulous experience! The staff are so attentive. My daughter was nervous having a hair cut but Gemma and Emma made it such an enjoyable experience that she can't wait to come back again! Her cut is also perfect!

A friend recommended Emma at 'It's Science'. I was very nervous about having my hair cut in a proper hairdressers for the first time in nearly 22 years, but Emma was brilliant and put me at ease. I had absolutely no idea what I wanted, they talked me through various options and I couldn't be happier with the result! Highly recommend for neurodivergent people or anyone nervous of the whole hairdressing experience.

I can’t remember the name of the stylists name, but she did a lovely job, made me feel really comfortable and did a great blow out too. I booked this on a wim as I’m just visiting Swansea and I’m very happy with the cut!

Gemma did an amazing job on my hair, I walked in desperate for a bit of self care and left feeling amazing with my new blonde hair. Gemma also has the best energy to be around which just added to the whole experience. P.s I loved the one off puppy cuddles!!!

Booked with Gemma for a curly cut. Can’t recommend the service highly enough. Loved my new curly shag, loved the atmosphere in the salon and the service was superb! Just a gorgeous salon.

Gemma did a fantastic job of my hair - I was so happy with the restyle and what was cut was enough to send to the Little Princess Trust to make wigs for children going through hair loss, an extra feelgood factor! The salon is fabulous, a great atmosphere and everyone was super friendly - I would highly recommend booking in here.

Emma absolutely nailed my vision! The most voluminous, bouncy blow-dry I’ve ever had—my hair felt incredible and gave me such a confidence boost. Loved the whole experience. Highly recommend!
