New to the area so I’ve been hairdresser hopping looking for the ONE. And I can honestly say I’ve found it with Its Science. Walked in to book my appointment because I wanted to get a feel for the place and talking to the girls knew it was the place for me. I had the lovely Millie deal with my hair that I might add is long thick and a bit unruly , and she was amazing !!! She listened to me and knew exactly what I wanted , she was a delight. I had a cut and colour and absolutely love my hair and what she done with it. The salon has such a lovely feel all the staff are really friendly and the owner is so welcoming she literally makes you feel like family. I absolutely love this place and I’m so glad I found it. Can’t thank the team enough , a beautiful salon with beautiful people. Thanks all ♥️

Fabulous experience! The staff are so attentive. My daughter was nervous having a hair cut but Gemma and Emma made it such an enjoyable experience that she can't wait to come back again! Her cut is also perfect!

A friend recommended Emma at 'It's Science'. I was very nervous about having my hair cut in a proper hairdressers for the first time in nearly 22 years, but Emma was brilliant and put me at ease. I had absolutely no idea what I wanted, they talked me through various options and I couldn't be happier with the result! Highly recommend for neurodivergent people or anyone nervous of the whole hairdressing experience.

I have always felt uncomfortable in salons. I feel so lucky to have found Gemma and it's Sience. They make you feel so welcome and relaxed. I have short hair and trust Gemma to give honest feedback when choosing a style. I always leave with a great cut and a smile.

I can’t remember the name of the stylists name, but she did a lovely job, made me feel really comfortable and did a great blow out too. I booked this on a wim as I’m just visiting Swansea and I’m very happy with the cut!

Gemma did an amazing job on my hair, I walked in desperate for a bit of self care and left feeling amazing with my new blonde hair. Gemma also has the best energy to be around which just added to the whole experience. P.s I loved the one off puppy cuddles!!!

Favourite day of the week when I get to pop to the salon for my blow dry! Every single one in the team does the best blow dry and always manage to do the best wavy bob!

Booked with Gemma for a curly cut. Can’t recommend the service highly enough. Loved my new curly shag, loved the atmosphere in the salon and the service was superb! Just a gorgeous salon.

Gemma did a fantastic job of my hair - I was so happy with the restyle and what was cut was enough to send to the Little Princess Trust to make wigs for children going through hair loss, an extra feelgood factor! The salon is fabulous, a great atmosphere and everyone was super friendly - I would highly recommend booking in here.

Louise was brilliant, she put me at ease and kept checking I was happy with what she was doing (I was, very). Fantastic salon like no other, so relaxed and fun and incredibly talented!

From start to finish an excellent experience. The welcome was so warm and the advice and cut brilliant. I really enjoyed not having to sit in front of a mirror and then having the pleasure of seeing the finished product.

Emma absolutely nailed my vision! The most voluminous, bouncy blow-dry I’ve ever had—my hair felt incredible and gave me such a confidence boost. Loved the whole experience. Highly recommend!

I was with Louise today for a Cut and Blowdry and the experience was unlike any other I have had with my hair.
From start to finish I was made to feel totally welcome and comfortable. Louise took the time to figure out what I wanted and needed for my haircut and found a solution that made me feel much happier in myself by the end.
The whole space had a soft and welcoming feeling with no judgement or feeling like you were just another number through the door.
This felt like a very human and holistic approach to your hair as part of you and not some separate entity.

Atmosphere from the start was amazing, I arrived a bit early and they immediately offered me a drink while I waited. Everyone was really lovely and chatty and all really seemed to know what to do with my hair (which is quite thick and curly). The lady washing my hair (not sure what her name was, short with long blonde curls) was offering all sorts of advice on how to maintain my hair at home and Millie treated my hair perfectly while cutting it and answered the questions I had about possibly adding colour to it in future and seemed like she knew what she was talking about. Very happy with the layers I had cut and definitely coming back in future, was nervous at first but everyone is so nice 10/10

Friendly, professional, always honest and willing to give advice. Everyone at it's science is welcoming and kind and knowledgeable. Always feel amazing when Millie's cut my hair, and I love that I don't have to see myself in the mirror! Won't go anywhere else xxxxxx

I never fail to have an amazing experience - they all work as a great team - from offering a delicious big coffee on arrival, to a super relaxing head wash n massage, to a social cut/colour/style around the huge kitchen style table (no mirrors - just chat). They all go out of their way to ensure they do what YOU want, and offer great ideas. I have very short hair and Gemma is a master at pixie cuts! And Emma is a colour guru - a real genius with the science and chemistry of colour. I even treated my sister, visiting from USA, to a cut/colour/style of her long hair - months later she still says it was the best experience ever - on leaving she said she felt like she’d been to a spa!
