Millie is so lovely and made me feel so comfortable I havent stepped foot in a hairdressers in 5 years and will only now go here thankyou for your time and i absolutely live my hair

I came to the salon today for the first ever time, I was incredibly nervous but the atmosphere was brilliant. Gemma was a star, she knew exactly what I wanted and did SUCH a beautiful job on my new haircut !

Everyone is so bubbly and welcoming and it was well worth the time and money.

Cannot wait to book back in for a colour after my patch test !

I had a wonderful experience at its science today. I had a wash, cut and blow dry and Shanelle did an amazing job. I’m very happy with my hair and the bouncy blowout I received. I definitely reccomend.

Yet again always a lovely welcome by all the staff. A beautiful cut /blow dry by Millie. Extremely happy every visit. Advised me on technique to style, colour & suggestions on what suits me best 😍😍👌love love love🌠

My stylist was Emma but I couldn’t find her name under the drop down.
I think Emma is extremely talented. There is no style I’ve asked for so far that she hasn’t achieved for me.
It’s Science for me is the place to go for quality. My hair doesn’t just look better when I leave, it feels better. The hair mask they offer is the best I’ve ever had. It’s pure magic!
It’s also wonderful not having to sit awkwardly in front of a mirror during the appointment. That’s a really unique and beneficial idea.
Thank you Emma for never rushing my hair. Even when you’re busy, you take your time.

Gemma was amazing from the moment I walked into the salon. So welcoming and accommodating… I desperately wanted a new look after a negative experience at a previous salon. Gemma addressed my concerns and doubts, reassuring me throughout the whole process. I went from hating my hair to falling back in love, with the added bonus that I could get my hair coloured at a later date. Thank you Gemma!!

I went back today as felt I had made the wrong choice about my hair a few weeks ago. Millie was so helpful, listened to what I wanted and worked her magic on it. Best hair salon I've ever been to! Lovely atmosphere, beautiful salon, all the staff are great and professional and friendly. Millie always does a great job on my hair. They're also really sensitive to and helpful with checking products are suitable for my allergies.

After experiencing hair loss due to illness—and admittedly not treating my hair well in the past (bleaching and neglecting it)—I now pour extra care into looking after it. Because of that, I’ve visited countless salons but none have stood out to me as much as It’s Science.

Honestly, I can’t believe a place like this exists in Swansea—it feels like the kind of polished, high-level salon you’d expect to find in London. Everything about it is faultless. The online booking system is straightforward, the flexible opening hours make it easy to find the perfect slot, and every member of staff radiates passion, warmth, and incredible talent.

Gemma is a force of nature—zesty, stylish, and brimming with passion. You can’t help but be in awe of what she’s created here. More than anything, I’m just grateful for it. The treatments are outstanding—the hair mask in particular is the best I’ve ever tried. I don’t know what magic is in it, but it transforms my hair’s manageability every single time. Beyond that, it’s become a moment of calm for me; I’m naturally quite highly strung, but this treatment relaxes me like nothing else.

I usually see Emma, whose gentle yet strong personality immediately puts me at ease. She makes me feel safe, listened to, and completely confident in her hands. I absolutely love the way she does my hair—I trust her completely.

I can’t recommend It’s Science enough. What a gem of a find!

To be honest, I’m disappointed. Now I’m home, the cut doesn’t sit well - it’s much shorter at the front than I wanted … and there’s nothing anyone can do until it grows out

Everyone was so welcoming and the salon is gorgeous. I was so relaxed after a gentle head massage while my hair was washed. Gemma listened and cut my hair beautifully, she really is very talented and empathetic. Worth every penny.

I’ve been going to It’s Science for a while now and I love it there. The no mirrors is such a game changer. I think pretty much everyone in that salon has touched my hair (who work there!) but Millie is my gal. Everyone is friendly, puts up with my weird conversations and just happy to go with the flow. Never been disappointed with my hair leaving that salon.

Shanelle nailed the cut I was hoping for. The whole vibe was relaxed, and I left feeling fresh. Definitely the best place for haircuts

Gemma and the team go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and relaxed. As someone who has struggled with curly hair for years, and had previous hairdressers who found my hair a challenge, Gemma is like a breath of fresh air. She shows me how to get the best out of my hair and I always leave feeling great.

I just spent a lovely time at It's Science. I had my hair dyed and cut so I was there for a long time. The atmosphere, as usual, was relaxed, fun and friendly. I am absolutely delighted with my cut and colour. I really can't recommend them enough.

Its Science are amazing hairdressers. Millie has totally nailed my colour and always does a fantastic job. She really takes time to listen to what you want and gives great advice. The salon experience is the best I’ve been to. Customer care is outstanding and all the team are lovely. Highly recommend!

Gemma has been so understanding. Gemma listened to my concerns and 100% understood my hair. First person in 6 years I have let near my fringe and she certainly righted my YouTube wrongs. Lovely team. Very welcoming and considerate.

This place is incredible. The salon has a relaxing atmosphere, is very clean and modern, and they don't make you feel rushed. Absolutely amazing service. All members of staff were exceptional. Love the layout, the fact that you’re not staring at yourself for hours in front of a mirror is a game changer!

Millie is so friendly and understands what I ask for, even when it really makes no sense. I’ve had my hair coloured and cut with Gemma 3 times now, and it’s the best my curly hair has looked in years. I’ve had so many compliments from my friends and family. Gemma knows what’s she is talking about when it comes to curls, trust the process, you won’t be disappointed.

Had such a great experience getting my hair done! After a year of barely touching it (thanks to having a baby), I was ready for a big change. Gemma and the team absolutely nailed it, took me from drab to platinum blonde in just three hours, which is definitely something to shout about! I honestly didn’t think I’d get as light as I wanted but they pulled it off effortlessly. The cut, colour and blow dry were all perfect. Everyone was so lovely and the whole vibe was super relaxed. Definitely found my new go to spot for hair!

A lovely, warm welcome at It's Science and I love the decor, especially the mirror-free concept which, together with Louise's gentle hair washing, made the whole experience pleasantly relaxed for me. Despite my somewhat vague explanation, Millie did a great cut, capturing exactly the look that I wanted! I appreciated her clear advice on caring for and styling my new cut too. I'll definitely be back.
