About us

TONI&GUY Newcastle-upon-Tyne opened in the city centre in 1995, recently relocating to Haymarket. We are committed to providing the ultimate salon experience, paying great attention to customer service.

Our talented team of stylists and technicians are on hand to give you expert advice and create hair that is individual and easy to live with, interpreting fashion trends with versatile wearable styles. Members of our salon are part of the TONI&GUY Session Team and have worked alongside the International Artistic Team on catwalk shows at London Fashion Week, bringing the latest trends from the catwalk to our clients.

We offer many additional services including Bridal and Occasion hair and the NanoKeratin Smoothing blow-dry. Our wide range of haircare products include label.m, Kerastase, GHD, L’Oreal and Tangle Teezer to keep your hair salon perfect until your next visit.

STRENGTH IN STYLE
Strength in Style is now available in this salon, offering people affected by cancer specialist support and advice on hair care. This service includes styling pre, during and post treatment hair, and wig personalisation with the option to purchase synthetic and human hair wigs. Louise was very thorough but gentle throughout, she was extremely professional and relaxed. I really appreciated the effort Louise put into both my colour and my cut, and my hair hasn't looked this good in years! Louise was extremely detail orientated and regularly checked that I was happy with each stage of the process. You can really see how much Louise cares about good quality hair care, the best visit I've had so far.
Only slight negative- very expensive, BUT you get what you pay for.

I had a very good consultation and then I did my hair cut. She clearly understood what I wanted and gave me the hair cut. I’m really sorry I forgot her name. But she had pixie blonde hair, hope that makes sense

Liam is a genius.... What more do I need to say? The best colourist. Ever. My hair looks amazing, I feel great and you couldn't ask for more from a salon experience, except it would be good to have a decaff option to drink. ?..... But that's not Liams doing. I had a chair massage, hair wash which felt so relaxing, hair treatment and a warm towel wrap, hair cut and when my fringe was cut I was offered a new mask as hair fell into my mask, she was very considerate. I had a lot of fried ends and she showed me a hair mask to use. She cut off the dead bits and kept some length. I left feeling confident and really relaxed. It felt like I had a spa treatment let alone a hair cut. Finally felt good after not feeling myself all throughout covid. You will definitely see me again, thank you so much for my hair cut.

From the minute I walked into the salon I felt relaxed and looked after. Tanya asked me all sorts of questions about my hair and recommended some great ideas I had never thought about. Being a (mobile) hairdresser myself I was worried that I may not like the outcome of my hair but it is honestly the BEST hair cut I have ever had. I loved watching Tanya cut my hair with precision. I could of sat and talked to her all day. What a lovely woman. I loved it so much I booked back in for 7 weeks time. Highly recommend. Actually considering doing some training with Toni and Guy. Feel i need to up my game. :-)
