About us

TONI&GUY Newcastle-upon-Tyne opened in the city centre in 1995, recently relocating to Haymarket. We are committed to providing the ultimate salon experience, paying great attention to customer service.

Our talented team of stylists and technicians are on hand to give you expert advice and create hair that is individual and easy to live with, interpreting fashion trends with versatile wearable styles. Members of our salon are part of the TONI&GUY Session Team and have worked alongside the International Artistic Team on catwalk shows at London Fashion Week, bringing the latest trends from the catwalk to our clients.

We offer many additional services including Bridal and Occasion hair and the NanoKeratin Smoothing blow-dry. Our wide range of haircare products include label.m, Kerastase, GHD, L’Oreal and Tangle Teezer to keep your hair salon perfect until your next visit.

STRENGTH IN STYLE
Strength in Style is now available in this salon, offering people affected by cancer specialist support and advice on hair care. This service includes styling pre, during and post treatment hair, and wig personalisation with the option to purchase synthetic and human hair wigs. Called in on the spur of moment for a blow dry which they were happy to fit me in. Was looked after by Nikita who did a great job,made me feel relaxed and welcome and my blow dry was perfect,would recommend x

My hair extremely damaged due to self colouring I thought it was beyond repair and I was so worried about getting it cut short but I absolutely loved my finished result and from now on I'm leaving the hairdressing to the experts. Everyone was so warm and friendly. I will definitely be back.

I'm always booked in with Hannah who is a genuinely lovely polite person. Knows exactly what you Want and how to cut it. I'm always happy with the cut I get. The rest of the staff members all seem very happy and polite also. My only criticism is that it is a touch pricey however that is no doubt companywide and should not detract from this store. Will happily return time again

Took a picture of the style I wanted, stylist said she could do it, looked nothing like what I wanted. Quite upset doubt I'd return for a cut again but will continue to go for my colour, now that I'm home and have time to think I should have complained and refused to pay for the hair cut, she knew I wasn't satisfied with it, I get the impression she could not do that style I would have respected her more if she had said that. All my friends and family were expecting me to return with a new look even they were shocked when they saw me. Never mind I'm sure it'l grow back and I'll look for a new hairdressers to cut my hair in future. Also it's annoying when your quiet and make your staff clean what is already spotless it is ruining the relaxing atmosphere I was irritated by it today and one member even admitted they have to clean and look busy!! No you don't!! We come to relax not have polish squirted everywhere. My ratings below are based on today's visit and only apply to the cut not the colour

From first stepping into the salon the customer service was second to none. As always the lady on reception greeted me with a smile. Liam (colourist) did an excellent job, Katie (stylist) took time to say hi (even though I wasn't having a cut today) and Gemma finished my dry exactly how I like it. Everyone is so friendly and I left feeling very happy. Would certainly recommend to friends and family.

From the minute I walked everyone was friendly, the girl in reception who brought me s very welcomed cup of tea, Claire who washed my hair and then Libby who cut my hair beautifully and was so chatty and complimentary throughout!! I came away feeling ten feet tall!! Brilliant, going back on Thursday for my colour!!

This Was The first time I visited this salon and it was very very impressed .
The stylist Liam was very creative and the end result has had very good comments from the whole family including my daughter who is a makeup artist and has worked with many top stylists in her work.

I walked in to this salon without an appointment and was promptly given a warm welcome and offered an appointment with LIbby for a cut and blow dry. Couldn't fault the service and was more than satisfied with a cut and blow dry which transpired into exactly what I wanted! Considering I'd never been here before I was very grateful and impressed. Libby was great to talk with too.

Beautiful salon, (especially with the Christmas decorations up at the moment!) incredibly friendly & talented staff.

It always feels like a real treat visiting this salon, you're made to feel very welcome and I feel even better leaving with my grogeous new hair! Great service everytime.

Claire is a particularly exceptional stylist, she really listens and takes the time to fully understand the look I'm after. I change my look frequently and she always gets it spot on. She's also a pleasure to chat to.

I would recommend Toni & Guy Newcastle to anyone, there is no better salon. These are the best hairdressers in town bar none!
