About us

TONI&GUY Newcastle-upon-Tyne opened in the city centre in 1995, recently relocating to Haymarket. We are committed to providing the ultimate salon experience, paying great attention to customer service.

Our talented team of stylists and technicians are on hand to give you expert advice and create hair that is individual and easy to live with, interpreting fashion trends with versatile wearable styles. Members of our salon are part of the TONI&GUY Session Team and have worked alongside the International Artistic Team on catwalk shows at London Fashion Week, bringing the latest trends from the catwalk to our clients.

We offer many additional services including Bridal and Occasion hair and the NanoKeratin Smoothing blow-dry. Our wide range of haircare products include label.m, Kerastase, GHD, L’Oreal and Tangle Teezer to keep your hair salon perfect until your next visit.

STRENGTH IN STYLE
Strength in Style is now available in this salon, offering people affected by cancer specialist support and advice on hair care. This service includes styling pre, during and post treatment hair, and wig personalisation with the option to purchase synthetic and human hair wigs. Wish I realised that Tony and Guy still had a salon in the area having used T&G metrocentre prior to it closing. Welcoming, relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Everyone I encountered were friendly. Libby was fab, asked what I was looking for, explained what she would do, friendly and chatty did what she said she would..... very happy with the end result..... so much so I have made my next appointment..... definitely will be back, thank you ????

***** maybe not familiar with men’s hairstyle. Cut too shorttt of my fringe and I could not get a good hairstyle. Next time I should have a stylist who is good at men’s cutting

I visited Toni & guy after reading excellent reviews. I booked a consultation with Scott about my colour who made me feel very comfortable & confident. When I arrived for my appointment I was greeted with excellent customer service & a lovely cup of latte. Scott talked me through every step of the way of my new colour you are just amazing thank you so much I just love my new colouri it’snever looked so good , Should have done it a long time ago . Rebecca my stylist you are also fantastic my hair just falls into place every morning.Rebecca you got it so right A massive thank you to you both. I would recommend this salon 100% xx

Matthew is fantastic at his job I feel that he cares about me being happy with my colour and always goes the extra mile to do something creative and make changes to my colour so I feel happy this time he brought autumn elements into my colour which I love. I trust his judgement and his genuine and friendly attitude make him lovely to talk to. I was also very happy with my blow dry by Reece he did a great job and I was really happy with how it looked. Reece was also very confident, genuine, friendly and easy to talk to. Thank you to them both!
