About us

TONI&GUY Newcastle-upon-Tyne opened in the city centre in 1995, recently relocating to Haymarket. We are committed to providing the ultimate salon experience, paying great attention to customer service.

Our talented team of stylists and technicians are on hand to give you expert advice and create hair that is individual and easy to live with, interpreting fashion trends with versatile wearable styles. Members of our salon are part of the TONI&GUY Session Team and have worked alongside the International Artistic Team on catwalk shows at London Fashion Week, bringing the latest trends from the catwalk to our clients.

We offer many additional services including Bridal and Occasion hair and the NanoKeratin Smoothing blow-dry. Our wide range of haircare products include label.m, Kerastase, GHD, L’Oreal and Tangle Teezer to keep your hair salon perfect until your next visit.

STRENGTH IN STYLE
Strength in Style is now available in this salon, offering people affected by cancer specialist support and advice on hair care. This service includes styling pre, during and post treatment hair, and wig personalisation with the option to purchase synthetic and human hair wigs. I can't believe after going to the same hairdresses for 17 years that by accident I've been lucky enough to find such a great stylist like Tanya!! I have quite fine and very short hair which is not the best to work with but she has not only helped me grow it out (I've wanted this for years!) but I finally have 'my' haircut at last! The cut is beautiful and I can't say how good I feel about it, Tanya is warm and friendly, she talks, listens carefully and puts forward her expert opinion and what she thinks in such a professional and really likeable way.I would recommend her to anyone who really wants to have a really good haircut and a happy experience! The salon is a lovely place to visit with friendly staff as well, this by itself has made my usual dread of getting my hair cut a completely different experience, Thank you Tanya for that

Been coming for years stella is amazing & works wonders on my very thick curly hair, she’s a lovey person soo genuine kind & funny to. i wouldn’t go else where x
How ever it’s the 1st time a very young girl washed my hair, maybe she was in training i know they hv to learn but i was a disappointed she did it very quickly only washing it once with a very quick rinse & no head massage or conditioner, i was in the chair a very short time in comparison to my usual wash, my face also soaked , & she did not speak at any point, bit of a shame really

Coming here is always such a treat - they make you feel really relaxed and well looked after.
