About us

TONI&GUY Newcastle-upon-Tyne opened in the city centre in 1995, recently relocating to Haymarket. We are committed to providing the ultimate salon experience, paying great attention to customer service.

Our talented team of stylists and technicians are on hand to give you expert advice and create hair that is individual and easy to live with, interpreting fashion trends with versatile wearable styles. Members of our salon are part of the TONI&GUY Session Team and have worked alongside the International Artistic Team on catwalk shows at London Fashion Week, bringing the latest trends from the catwalk to our clients.

We offer many additional services including Bridal and Occasion hair and the NanoKeratin Smoothing blow-dry. Our wide range of haircare products include label.m, Kerastase, GHD, L’Oreal and Tangle Teezer to keep your hair salon perfect until your next visit.

STRENGTH IN STYLE
Strength in Style is now available in this salon, offering people affected by cancer specialist support and advice on hair care. This service includes styling pre, during and post treatment hair, and wig personalisation with the option to purchase synthetic and human hair wigs. Hideous hair cut

Very disappointed today. Brought my son who has long hair. He wanted a trim, I said about 2 inches off the back. ***** said basically cut it so that it doesn’t look like it’s been cut. Sounded perfect. However, he has been left with short hair!! He is gutted and hates it. I didn’t want to make a fuss in salon so just said it was a bit short. ***** said at least he will be able to see now! So so disappointed. I said he had long hair when I made the appointment.

Colour Correction

I booked in with Scott after a previous hairdresser turned my roots purple with the rest of my hair a golden/honey balayage. It was striped, patchy underneath with blotches of colour and bits missing. Scott explained everything to me in detail and gave recommendations of what would work best in the short space of time we had as I was going on holiday days later. Although I needed to go darker on the top than I usually would as it was the only way to cover the purple, he blended the root stretch perfectly with enough golden tones throughout the mid lengths and ends to ensure I didn’t look too dark overall. He got rid of the purple entirely on the first go which I wasn’t expecting to be possible because of how vibrant it was. The service and knowledge was second to none and I am absolutely over the moon with my hair.

TONI&GUY Newcastle-upon-Tyne opened in the city centre in 1995, recently relocating to Haymarket. We are committed to providing the ultimate salon experience, paying great attention to customer service.
