An exceptional hair salon. All staff are welcoming and make you feel comfortable from when you enter the salon until when you leave with a big smile. Such professionalism and hairstyling expertise is demonstarted by stylist Jonathan. Such customer service is quite rare these days. An allround 5 star experience each time I attend my salon appointment.

Claire is an amazing hairdresser great advice and always a fantastic hair result , Claire has been my hairdresser for years and I have never been disappointed once with result. All the salon staff are lovely and very friendly.

I wanted a change from my usual hairdressers so picked at random David Harvey in Newcastle. Received a warm and friendly welcome on arrival and offered a drink. I opted for coffee. Although it was an evening appointment close to closing time I certainly did not feel rushed. Thomas was very welcoming and made me feel relaxed and listened to what I wanted. I was very happy with the result and will definitely be coming back and will recommend it to my friends.

I have been going to Kay for years and she is just amazing. The Salon is expensive but always go where Kay is.

John was a little nervous coming in as he's autistic and has sensory issues, he's been before, before lockdown, he has selective mutism and he was even able to speak thats how comfortable he was made to feel, he was spoken to like a man which is definitely a winner as so many people decide to speak to him like a small child... he's autistic not stupid and Jonathan was nothing short of brilliant and we will be back!

After a most interesting consultation, Graham did a brilliant job of recolouring my wife’s hair and restyling it after years with a different hairdresser. Whilst the colours were setting, he got to grips with my mop and restyled me as well. After our appointment we went to the Quayside to celebrate.

Hair salon and allowing me squeezed in their tightest schedule for a chance fo have a simple but most marvelous hairstyle that I I exactly preferred and most comfortable with to David’s expertise - five stars for the David Harvey Hairdressing’s management !L everything in there is quality ie I need not shampoo after arriving home to take off the sticky chemicals used. They not only got a best kond for service or any thing inside salon from snack refreshments to staff’s relationships with their clients - such a pleasure to be inside. One more thing I like add, the air quality while inside is also superb and non-toxic. That signifies using David Harvey ,,,,,

Great salon staff are so welcoming and friendly can't do enough for you . The salon is so peaceful to sit and read a magazine while having hair done I could stay there all day .

This was my first visit to Davidharvey, and I wasn’t sure what to expect—but I was genuinely impressed! Before coming in, I checked out some photos of their work and noticed there weren’t many male haircut examples, so I was a little hesitant. While they clearly specialize in women’s styles, I was pleasantly surprised by how well they handled my haircut. The team treated my hair with great care and attention to detail, and the final result exceeded my expectations. I’m really happy with how it turned out, and I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommended!
