After years of bleaching my hair was damaged/dry. Clare did a total revamp and it looks amazing . I’m dark for the first time and my hair looks in such good condition , I love it. Such a professional salon and lovely staff.

I have loved this salon since I found it years ago . Stacey is an amazing stylist I always feel fabulous when she has done her magic . This salon has a very inclusive vibe , all ages and all people are welcomed . You will know what I mean some salons you just don’t fit in and their clientele is very narrow - here it’s like they welcome you into their styling family every month . It’s a joy to go . Lovely staff lovely place and fabulous hair to find that all in one place is really special .

Emma always does a perfect colour/ cut and as I was going on holiday the next day, “extra special”treatment, my style will stay in for approx 4 days.
The salon was lovely and peaceful even though there were at least 6 clients in, with tasteful music in the background.
I have been a client of Emma’s for many years now and appreciate her advice, I’ve never been disappointed.

Graham provides a genuinely fantastic service with an easy understanding attitude, enjoyable conversation and is always polite, courteous. He is skilled in his profession and it shows in the results of the haircut and the knowledge/advice he provides about styling and colouring too. Booking an appointment is simple using the online service and is easy if I need to make changes. I enjoy a coffee and great conversation with someone that feels like a friend each time I attend. Overall, it's a wonderful experience not just a haircut, I look forward to it each time.

I was a little nervous coming in to the hairdressers today as I wanted a drastic change. I’ve been to David Harvey’s before and had a nice time each time I’ve been so went ahead and booked an appointment. When I went in I was advised how best to do the style I wanted and had a lovely chat with Laura who cut my hair. She did a fantastic job and I couldn’t be happier with the style! The cost was very reasonable too for the amount of time that was spent cutting my hair from a medium to a short Bob. My hair feels very soft and I’ve went from feeling like I need to dye it to the roots looking like they were meant to be that way! A+ will be back as soon as it grows!

So happy I found a new hairdresser after moving to Newcastle. The atmosphere in the salon was great, everyone smiling and making sure I had a good time.
Emma took time to understand what cut I wanted, gave great recommendations and adjusted to changes inbetween. She also focused on showing me how to style the hair easily at home and explained the care process. Really love the result, it looks absolutely stunning.

I’ve known Graham for many years and he’s been styling and colouring my hair for the past 5 years. He knows what I like and changes my hairstyle to my wishes. They’re sessions I look forward to more like having coffee with a good friend.All the staff are lovely and friendly and great products used. Have had some great head massages too.

Lovely, welcoming salon with Uber relaxing chairs for hair washing. Not only do your feet get held up but your body gets a massage too! Graham is an excellent hairdresser who listens well and cuts my hair extremely well. My six-week visit is always a welcome event! Great hairdresser!

Walking into David Harvey's hair salon is like Walking into a friend's house, everyone is so friendly and welcoming.
I have been visiting this salon for many years now. Emma is fantastic stylist.
Going from dark brown hair to blonde with highlights, was a big step for me but with Emma's expertise and fantastic knowledge I didn't need to worry. I love my new hair, looks natural and had so many complements.
