Elle has been my hairdresser for a number of years...I have nearly every colour on the colour chart! Today Elle had new colours for me to try .... fabulous result again ... highly recommend this salon, give it a go if looking for somewhere new

I'm always terrified to go to a new salon, but all my worries we're quickly abated.
Georgia was fantastic, listened to what I wanted and what I was having trouble with and gave me an absolutely fantastic cut and fringe.
She even taught me how to style my difficult flat hair and gave me tips.
It's clear she absolutely loves what she does - and she's fantastic.

Can't wait to get my colour done next!

Jenny and the girls are always friendly and welcoming. Jenny takes the time to listen to what I want done and I have never left disappointed.

Usually booking late nights, I had to reschedule my appointment due to being poorly and Georgia managed to fir me in on the Satursay. Chilled tunes, a free G&T and salted popcorn and a fabulous cut and colour! I wish I could start every weekend feeling this good! Thanks Georgia, you're the best!!!

Jenny is a most amazing hair stylist, she is imaginative, honest and provides fantastic advice. Jenny has been my stylist now for almost two years and each time I leave with a really smart and tidy appearance. The salon is very clean and welcoming with a lovely friendly reception and atmosphere.

Lovely and friendly stylists who are knowledgeable and experienced. They gave advice as well as an amazing toner colour. 100% recommend.

Always look forward to coming in for a cut with Georgia. I don’t go anywhere else!! Her advise and skill is perfect for my hair, I have a regular cut every 6-8 weeks (as advised by Georgia) and am happy every single time! She understands what I want each time & I always walk out the salon happy! The staff are very friendly & the salon has a great atmosphere & most importantly I love my hair.

First time at Carter and Shields today and I came away so happy with my cut and the entire service I received. I was a bit unsure what to do with my grown out hair and I felt I was guided into making totally the right decision. Best cut and finish I have had in years! Wonderful experience and lovely salon. Can't wait to go back for a colour.

Georgia is so lovely and really listens to what you would like to do with your hair. She’s open to change and so offers lots of choices which is great if you fancy a total re-style. She has transformed the colour of my hair so it looks natural and has lovely tones and modernised the cut so it’s versatile and easy to style. I’m delighted with the result!

Love my hair cut. Both Jenny and Rhianna do my hair. Can't recommend them enough. My hair is long and thick and I'm very fussy about my hair. They rise to the challenge and get it right everytime. Professional salon with a friendly atmosphere.

All the team make you feel so welcome and you know you are in good hands. I go regularly and both my children have their hair done here too and always feel at ease. I absolutely love the salon and won’t go anywhere else. I used to get my hair done at ***** but always found it a trying experience. My hair stylist was lovely but never quite achieved the result I was looking for and conversation was tedious. Thank goodness for finding Carter & Shields! Georgia just gets me and I always leave loving my new style or colour! Visiting the salon feels more like popping round to friend's house for a couple of glasses of prosecco and a good catch up. A relaxed and friendly salon that always achieve great results!

Second time I've been to Carter & Shields, such a lovely atmosphere, I was met with a smile and the hairdresser had already looked at my file to see what I had done before. I felt very looked after, she kept checking with me to make sure I was happy with everything and my hair looks and feels absolutely lovely afterwards! Can't wait to go back.
