All the team make you feel so welcome and you know you are in good hands. I go regularly and both my children have their hair done here too and always feel at ease. I absolutely love the salon and won’t go anywhere else. I often get comments about how nice my hair looks and that’s credit to Jenny not only for actually doing it but also for her creativity in getting something different every time! Thank you ????

I always get compliments on my hair after visiting Carter and Shields - I’m both the cut and the colour. It’s a friendly salon with a lovely airy feel and all the staff are skilled. I definitely recommend it.

I used to get my hair done at ***** but always found it a trying experience. My hair stylist was lovely but never quite achieved the result I was looking for and conversation was tedious. Thank goodness for finding Carter & Shields! Georgia just gets me and I always leave loving my new style or colour! Visiting the salon feels more like popping round to friend's house for a couple of glasses of prosecco and a good catch up. A relaxed and friendly salon that always achieve great results!

Second time I've been to Carter & Shields, such a lovely atmosphere, I was met with a smile and the hairdresser had already looked at my file to see what I had done before. I felt very looked after, she kept checking with me to make sure I was happy with everything and my hair looks and feels absolutely lovely afterwards! Can't wait to go back.

Been to the salon twice and the second time everyobe remembered me. Everyone is very nice and not snooty like some saloons! Explained what i wanted and they did exactly that, no trying to convince me to get something completely different. The nicest hairdressers ive been to.

Georgia and Rhianna were amazing. Georgia did the colour on my hair which turned out stunning (better than I expected) and Rhianna blow-dried it and curled it! My hair has never looked better.

Once again Ellie saved the day! She did a colour correction for me and saved my hair and my confidence. That will teach me to go elsewhere! You get what you pay for. This salon are full of friendly and talented, gorgeous women who really know their stuff. I left with beautiful smelling, fantastic looking, knock out hair! Can’t wait to go back and get it lightened again.

There is also a gorgeous little salon dog too... which is just the best!

Great team of hairdressers who deliver a professional yet friendly service. I had my colour done to a very high standard and got exactly what I asked for. My blow dries have lasted me until my next wash and have received many compliments. I'm very fussy about my hair as it's very thick so if it's not dried properly can look disasterous. Highly recommend Carter & Shield
