Rihanna always makes me feel right at home, always there to offer advice and make sure my colour and cut is on point!

Loved my cut and the consultation beforehand. So helpful to have a chat about my hairs pros and cons and then figure out what works for me! And my do is fixed! And who doesn’t love a salon pup?

My third visit and yet again a lovely colour and cut from Jenny. All the staff are friendly. I always look forward to visiting again!

They managed to squeeze me in and jenny done an amazing job as usual, thank you so much for the new gorgeous hair I have now x

I made an appointment 24 hours ago and now have an amazing hair up do for a function tonight. I've never been to the salon before but was struck by how friendly the team were, especially Elle who did my styling. The salon looks cool and is spotlessly clean. 100% recommend.

Rhianna did an excellent job of cutting and styling my hair as always. She takes the time to talk through everything before starting so that she knows exactly what I want to achieve and delivers perfectly. The atmosphere at the salon is lovely and very welcoming so I would have no hesitation recommending to everyone

I just had my highlights + cut done by Rihanna and I couldn’t recommended enough. She is really good at both, highlights and cut. I love all the attention she puts on what you are expecting to see at the end of the experience; she is also really kind and it is very easy to feel comfortable with her.
I also like the salon, as the space has been decorated with good taste and seats are comfortable, something to consider at least for me when you are going to be there for 3 hours.

Couldn’t fault Jenny at all, made me feel at ease after some bad experiences and living my new cut!

I switched to C&S a long time ago from high street hairdressers on a recommendation of a friend and have not looked back since.
As I am getting a scalp bleach and have bleached blond hair, in the past I always had the issue that my hair turned brassy after only a short time.
Not anymore! Ellie and her team take time to understand the needs and have a wealth of knowledge that you won't get on the high street.
My hair is in great condition, doesn't turn brassy anymore and I am extremely happy with the cut and the colour.
You'll be warmly welcomed every time and the whole team is absolutely lovely.

GREAT first time experience.
I called very last minute to book in time for Christmas, managed to get squeezed in within the hour.
Haircut is exactly what I wanted, took a fair few inches off the length which I was a little nervous about but I was reassured, definitely made the right choice!
The place is beautiful, great atmosphere, lovely stylists, and there was even a cute dog!
All in all an amazing experience, looking forward to coming again.

So I have been having my hair coloured in another salon for years but recently felt they weren't really taking care any more. Having popped in for a cut a couple of times I was won over by jennys enthusiasm and skill and decided to trust her with my colour for Christmas. She knew exactly what to do and I am thrilled. It’s nearly a year that I’ve been coming to Carter and Shields and I would genuinely not go anywhere else in Woking now. Rhianna is great and the support of Ellie and Jenny is always brilliant. My hair is in such good condition and I always get compliments after my visits!

Even after moving away from Woking I still choose here for my cuts. Jenny, Rhianna and the others do a good service and can’t fault them. Highly recommend if you like a good chat along with great styling!

I had been to many barbers trying to find somebody that can cut my hair and hide my thinning. My wife suggested her salon.. naturally hesitant but I gave it a shot. I have now been getting my hair cut by these guys for well over 2 years. Not only are they qualified and skilled they are good company and always make you feel welcome.
What makes a great haircut even better? The answer: Carter and Shields. I cant recommend Jenny highly enough

Almost a year ago with the lovely Jenny's help I started a journey to grow a Mullet, Jenny was inspirational and trimmed and sculptured it with ease and took it all in her stride. Well done Jenny and thank you so much for your wonderful support. It was a real boost for me to be able to still grow my hair, alas it was not to the liking of my loved ones! Today, Jenny again has provided me with a stunning close cut style, which I really like and entertained me with her wonderful and interesting view of life.
Well done Jenny, thank you so much for my new hairstyle and I wish every success for the future of your business. A fantastic team of hairstylists who have a great outlook on fashion and an absolutely excellent salon. A joy to visit. Keep up the good work and I would recommend any man who would like a soft hair cut look or a sharp clean edge look to pay the salon a visit.
