My first appointment after lockdown and I felt very safe and in great hands. The team at Carter & Shields have made great efforts to keep clients and themselves safe, while still giving their usual great service and perfect results. So glad to be back!

from the minute you walk in you feel at ease, Jenny took my temperature at the door and explained how to fill in the new health and safety questionnaire. Jenny explained everything to me as she went along and checked that I was happy and comfortable at every step of the appointment. I bought my own cloth mask and was worried about it getting hair dye on, Jenny gave me a disposable mask to wear during my hair colour which meant I was able to still wear a mask throughout the whole appointment.
As always, Jenny was able to create a colour, cut and style that I absolutely love and feel much better now that my isolation roots have been covered.

Rhianna made me feel welcome and comfortable from the moment I stepped into the salon. Temperature checked and hands sanitised makes you feel very safe. All the girls who work there have face shields and wear gloves again making you feel safe. Great cut and colour, a lot of attention to detail. One of the best hair treatments I’ve had, gave a lot of information on how I should look after my hair and the products to use. All round great salon experience! Thank you.

My first time going to this hairdressers and I couldn’t say a single negative thing about. The girls that work there are so lovely to chat to and completely understand your needs. Rihanna did an incredible job with my ridiculously long lockdown hair and has made me feel like myself again!!! The hygiene standards there are second to none and make it an extremely safe and enjoyable environment!
