HARE & BONE - Esher

I have to say, having a short haircut was a challenge during lockdown but it grew out a treat; testimony to a good haircut by Dan in January. Just been in to see Dan again and he has helped style a new short shape: love it, thanks!

I came in for a hair consultation and was greeted very well as I walked in. I had my consultation with Owen and immediately pit me at ease. He listen to what I wanted and told me what was realistic.
I can't wait to get my hair done there

Very professional and considered consultation and colour result. I would definately recommend this salon. However it is quite pricey paying extra for a blow dry after quite an expensive colour.

I had read several reviews online and all sang the praises of your salon. I was not disappointed... far from it. Owen was so well mannered and listened carefully to what were my main concerns.
He offered his advice but at no time tried to sway my choice. Needless to say, I left it to the expert to perform his magic.
I am thrilled with the colour and cut. Whilst Esher is not my home town, I have already booked my return visit and the 40 minute drive was so worth it.

So I’m one of those impossible to please kinda gals. I went to Owen with hair like a tree trunk...rings of past stylist leaving their mark on my super thick, super frizzy blonde locks. Owen told me in no uncertain terms it would be a process but he could get my hair right. To be honest I doubted “great” was even possible much less what I had been hoping to accomplish for years. Now I kick myself for waiting so long to go to
Hare and Bone. I was new to the area and tried a couple other salons first. Everything about Owen is like a long lost best friend, great intellectual conversation, unbelievable knowledge about science and health, a wicked sense of humour and just all around fun to spend a couple hours with! And he fixed my painfully damaged hair. Highly highly highly recommend trusting your hair with Owen! He’s a genius.

Lovely modern salon. As soon as I arrived I was welcomed. Jordana was already free (some 5 minutes before my appointment) so we had a prompt start. Good efficient service by Jordana: efficient and friendly. One satisfied customer!

Dan is extremely talented, creative & easy to chat to. He always makes my hair look fab, colour condition & styling is beautifully done,with great care.All the staff are friendly which makes all my appointments delightful. I’m now a regular client!

I have thin, five, short hair but wanted a glam hairstyle for a black tie do. I’ve never had my hair up before so wasn’t sure what to expect but Owen took time to understand what I wanted, what my dress was like before suggesting 2 options. He then quickly worked through creating the style while being lovely and chatting away. A fab experience and amazibg hair style!

Lovely salon and great customer care but the most important thing to me is the cut. Dan is simply brilliant. A real perfectionist, he puts in the time and focus to get it just right. Great advice, too, on both style and colour. Delighted with the result.
