I have lived in Cobham for over 15 years and please read all the good reviews below...the team are so friendly, professional, offer an extremely high quality service. My stylist John is fantastic! Best haircut ever. Highly recommend him. Everyone is very friendly at the Cobham salon.

I had an appointment which I had booked online for 5pm. I received a text reminder telling me it was 4pm. I called the salon to say I had booked online and was sure I had booked for around 5. They weren't very helpful and I eventually had to cancel my appointment as I was unable to make 4pm. When I got home and checked the screenshot I had taken of my booking and the email confirmation I had received, both confirming my appointment at 5pm. I called the salon back to tell them and the lady I spoke to really didn't care and wasn't apologetic at all. She sounded like she was sitting at the other end of the phone rolling her eyes. When I asked her how this could happen she said she didn't know and would have to call the it people who could look at the details of the booking. She said she would call me back Monday. Needless to say - no phone call. I understand computer systems go wrong sometimes and I would even understand if someone had changed the appointment and forgotten to tell me. However, I don't understand poor customer service and I dont want to return to the salon.

John is an outstanding hairdresser. Speaking as a guy you know someone is good when you like the cut and then do it consistently the same each time. He's also a pleasure to chat too. Highly recommended.

I hurt my back so needed just a blow dry as couldn't easily do it on my own. My regular hair salon was too busy to help but The Academy was able to fit me in very quickly. I went in with wet hair, so literally just had a blow dry. The stylist was very friendly and did a nice job, although she dropped the brush twice on the floor, picked it up and continued to use it on my hair which was a bit off putting considering there was other people's hair on the floor.
The total paid was £52. I think this is far too much for just a blow dry, even though my hair is long. I was expecting to pay in the region of £30. The price was not adjusted, considering I did not have it washed at the salon. I questioned the price as I paid but was told that it was correct. I don't think I would return.

Always lovely and relaxed with Danielle, I have rebooked and looking forward to my next visit.

It's my third visit with Kelly and she always works hard to achieve the best colour for my hair. It's a bit of a journey and I appreciate her patience and great advice. I'm always well looked after. A pleasurable experience.

Betta was fantastic. I had a full body massage today and it was the best one I've ever had. She really knows her stuff and knew the issues I had without me telling her. I will definitely be returning.

Lovely atmosphere and super staff very welcoming and friendly very happy with my pedicure and experience will definitely be returning.

I always enjoy going to Academy in Cobham in the evening - parking is easy, the salon is relaxing and the staff always attentive and efficient. I had a fabulous head massage, read current magazines and came out with great colour and style as always! Thanks Academy!!

This is my first time going to any academy branch. I felt the whole experience was rushed and I left feeling very disappointed. I asked for layers and 2 inches off, she took 2 minutes cutting my hair and I left with the same split ends as I arrived with.
