First hair cut in 12 years, I’m very nervous around people cutting my hair. But Sam calmed me and assured me that she would do an amazing job!
She walked me through every step that she was doing. What an amazing lady!
Sam made my day, I’ll defiantly be returning to her for my next cut.

Lyndsay cut and styled my hair beautifully. She understood how I look after my hair and advised about how to change it up for occasions. She gave good advice about styling wands and I was very happy with the finished cut.

Always very pleased the way Lindsay styles my hair the suggestions she makes.

Best hairdresser I’ve come across in a long while. Had lots of patients with me while I decided how short I wanted my hair. And made sure I was 100% happy with my hair before I left. She made me feel very calm with the experience considering I haven’t had it cut in over 3 years.

A visit to John Michael is not just for a great haircut but I get a big confidence boost. The staff are always welcoming and friendly and Lyndsay gave me ideas on styling and we talked about products. That's why I don't go anywhere else!

Perfect haircut

Samantha was just rhe loveliest hairdresser ever, made me feel like ive know her for years, was so relaxed amd giggling in her company a true asset to the team. I was desperate for my gair cut and sat in her xhair she adked what i would like i said im leaving it all up to you, her eyes lit up and oh my god the finished result is just amazing, she could see exactly what would suit me and it looks and feels amazing, ive already recommended her to a friend and will certainly be back!! From the moment I entered salon I felt valued and pampered. Molly is knowledgeable, friendly and gives a great head massage.
Such a shame I am a visitor to the area, as this salon and Molly would be my top salon every time.
I was only able to fit in a wash and blow dry, however it was the best I have ever had.
The whole experience was great.

Sam gave me exactly the cut and style I wanted, and the result was beautiful. She had also let me know of a treatment for my extra dry ends. I left feeling very pleased.

I've been having my hair cut here for years and wouldn't change. It's always a friendly, relaxing environment and Lyndsay is lovely.

Lyndsay is an amazing hairdresser, she has been cutting my hair for 5 years and I have always been totally satisfied with how she does my hair.

My daughter ( 2 years old) and I got a haircut from the same person. She was amazing , very clear and helped a lot. She was also very patience with my baby as she was having a tantrum (for not being comfortable around strangers). I loved her work, she made me feel much better with myself. All the staff made sure that we were welcomed and comfortable. At the end my baby got a certificate for having her first haircut, I was speechless. They are all very welcoming. I totally recommend this place as well as , I will be stopping by more often. Thank you everyone!

Samantha created a great style out of my mess of hair. She was great fun to chat with and has managed to give me an easy stylish haircut which needs very little work to look good. She has also transformed the condition of my hair with the cut.

Lindsay always makes you feel welcome and at home at any appointment whether it’s a quick cut or having your hair dyed. She listens to what you want and you always end up with an amazing end result. I would thoroughly recommend her, but not so there aren’t any appointments left for me.

I have fine straight hair and not always satisfied with my various hair cuts I had had in my immediate area. I decided to try Ipswich and found John Michael and have never looked back not only a very good hair cut but brilliant service and made to feel special and nothing is too much trouble. They have been excellent in these unprecedented times putting everything in place for our safety I highly recommend this hairdresser's and Lindsay is a caring and experienced hairdresser
