I’ve had Emma a few times now and she always listens and delivers every time.
She is an excellent hairdresser.

I'm not even sure who my stylist was sorry. Ive waited months for this hair cut and left feeling very underwhelmed. I explained some of the issues I've been having - shedding, peri-menopause related changes. She didn't say much about that, my hair cut was okay, the styling really average some half blow dry half hair straightener curl thing that always looks the same. There was a big push to try to promote various products. I also get so confused with the levels of stylists and costs, the costs are listed for each level but then no names of stylists of who is at what level, & I always find it really difficult to ask how much is this going to cost me without appearing rude. Overall it was fine, the salon is comfortable and clean, staff are very polite and I'm sure it's great for people who are more confident with their hair and knowing what to ask for. Not sure I'm their target customer base as I do get quite nervous and unsure on how to ask for help with my hair, might try again with a different stylist in the future.

I can’t recommend Amelia highly enough. She was amazing at knowing exactly what would suit me when I had my colour consultation. During my cut and colour she was extremely professional but lovely to chat to and made me feel relaxed. The salon is lovely and spacious and I will definitely be booking a return appointment.

Chelsea really listens to what I want. She really went out of her way to fit me in. Fantastic hairdresser and amazing service. I brought my daughter in as well to have her hair cut, and she was really good with her, as she was really nervous.

I honestly couldn’t recommend them more! The service is always incredible from start to finish. My hair has never been in better condition — it’s well maintained, healthy, and exactly how I like it every single time. Veronika is the only person I trust with my hair having fixed it when attending a local barber having moved away from the Lichfield area. On top of that, the banter and chat are always great — relaxed, friendly, and genuinely enjoyable. It’s an appointment I actually look forward to!

I came to the salon to help me with managing my grey regrowth, and to get it to a colour that takes less maintenance. I met with Veronika for a consultation where she took the time to understand what I was looking for. She also called on a colleague for a second opinion, which I felt was a good think to do.
I had a full head of highlights and lowlights, so was in the salon for approx 4 hours! Veronika was very considered when applying the colour, and the result was beautiful. I love the colour, and time will tell on my regrowth, but I already think it will look a lot better.

I had a last minute appointment with Eboni for a hair restyle. She took the time to talk me through it and as she cut it, was checking throughout. The final result was brilliant, and I was very happy with it.

Lovely. Listened, thoughtful and great blow dry. Very happy. Rest of the team are always so friendly too.

Lucy is such a lovely,friendly young lady.She listens and advises me about my hair and I love the way she styles it.

As always thanks for the lovely experience. After having the perfect cut from Tony last time. I had Lucy this time for my highlights. I believe she’s not long qualified but has had the best training from Tony so you feel safe in her hands. She has done a professional job of highlights. She created a great toner and I got a free quality treatment for being a loyal customer, yay! She’s a pleasant young lady, easy to speak with, smiley happy natural person and I felt comfortable with her.
So pleased I’ve found Anthony John salon. A fabulous ambience - big and airy salon - great upstairs balcony to relax in - drinks on tap. The reception staff are professional, polite and welcoming (just what to expect from a quality salon)
My big favourite is the head massage while having my hair wash 🥰 if only it could last a little longer…

I started coming to your salon last July after years of battling my grey roots, I wanted to start a blending journey that didn’t leave me with an obvious stripe of re growth and hating my hair within a couple of weeks of visiting a salon. Veronica has been brilliant, advising me the best way to do this without compromising my hair colour or condition and achieving a really natural colour which I love and grows out beautifully. I am really happy with my results and am now able to go months between colouring appointments which was my goal. She is a great hairdresser with a wealth of knowledge and lovely personality who along with all the other staff and beautiful venue make every appointment a pleasure.

Lucy was amazing, during consultation she made sure to listen to what I wanted very attentively, making recommendations or options that would suit my hair and my lifestyle. During the appointment she made sure to explain each step and double check that we were on the same page. She was very professional but also very approachable. I felt very comfortable and confident in her chair. I will for sure be a returning costumer! Thank you Lucy!

I had Maisie who was fab. I always have great service from all staff members and generally love the whole AJ experience. I would like to request new seats / covers for the back wash though please? Previously I’ve sat on the damaged ones which are really uncomfortable. I was offered one of these seats yesterday but because it has holes in the seat cover (where the screws poke out when you sit on it,) I asked if there was an alternative seat. I have a colour and a treatment so I can be sitting there for more than 30 mins. I hope you don’t mind me saying but this would be my only niggle.

I always have my hair straightened when I have my hair done but this time I asked Lucy to make the most of my natural curls & I loved what she did. She always takes time making sure I am happy with both the colour & the blow dry & is a lovely person.
I would be happy to recommend.

Another excellent visit to AJS. Eboni is allay attentive and not afraid to suggest something to me. Growing my pixie cut out, so needs careful cutting and styling. Lovely as usual.

So I’ve been coming to AJ for years and always been pleased. Today I had Chelsea for the first time, she was wonderful, encouraging and pushed me out of my comfort zone in a good way. I left the salon feeling a million dollars… even in the rain. Thank you

As always as soon as I entered the salon I was greeted by the very welcoming reception team .
My coat was taken and drinks offered. Troy took me through to the main salon and we discussed my hair in detail. What I wanted from today's appointment and how my hair had been since my last visit. I left with a style and cour exactly as I wanted. But its more than that the whole experience at AJS leaves you feeling wonderful. Troy listens and makes your hair feel its the best it can be. The salon itself is so well thought out and vibe is so friendly I look forward to every visit.
