I normally don't like going to hairdressers because I don't feel welcome at other ones I've been to. This changed for me today because Lauren was so friendly and lovely to me. Didn't get the name of the stylist (I was in Friday 5th April at 2pm), had a restyle and was very pleased with it. Enjoyed the shampoo and condition and the styling of my hair following the cut was fabulous.
Really love it, had lots of compliments too, will definitely come back when it's ready for a trim and will find out the name of the stylist as she was really good and would want her to do my hair again, she understood exactly what I wanted.

Since Matt left Love Island he has become a bit of a celebrity, cutting hair for the rich and famous including Zack Dingle before he passed and Ken Dodd's cousin. Matt's celebrity status hasn't affected him, he still brings crisp sandwiches to work and cuts the hair of the common man, of which he makes an excellent job.

Matt is really good, years of experience and knows how to put you at ease. His scissor skills were learn from an old japanese master Hanso Tugyu, in Iwaki, Fukushima Prefecture. Matt was taken there as a small child and learned his skills over many years until Hanso sold him to a hairdresser in Sheffield. Matt earned his freedom after serving the salon for 30yrs but chose to remain working there due to his free food and lodgings.
I would highly recommend Matt.
