Being a lady of a certain age with hair the colour of the miserable skies which are a constant here in Wales, I booked in at Sands after reading reviews. I walked away with a skip in my step and returned a week later for colours. The sun is back out! And now my secret is out, Beni K. My reluctance is because I don’t want everyone to flock to this fantastic lady and take all the appointments! Excellent salon and a great stylist x

I live in a shielding household and haven't felt comfortable going to the hairdresser's for a long time. From the minute I walked in, the Sands staff made me feel very safe. The staff obviously take inclusivity to heart. And my stylist, Stuart, was lovely!

Sands isn’t my usual hairdresser. Stuart cut and coloured my hair for the first time. He did an amazing job and I would have given four and half stars. He presented as professional, experienced, confident and friendly. I look forward to meeting him again on my next visit ?. Also, a special thank you to the person who washed my hair.

It’s always an absolute treat coming to the salon. Relaxing atmosphere & the staff here are always so lovely.As per usual, Beni has coloured & cut my hair to perfection. Looking forward to treating myself to some Aveda products at my next appointment.

I had full head of highlights but it looks too grey and too dark underneath. Also not cut enough off ? also annoyingly kept waiting for almost 20 min whilst chatting with previous customer.

I can't fault the salon or my hairdresser Carole. Having my hair done is my only me time and my visits never fail to deliver.
My hair is in a much better condition since I have been going to Sands, love the atmosphere and the attention I'm getting during all my visits! I would definitely recommend Sands! Great value for money too!

My first time at sands. I had heard great reviews so had high expectations. However not happy with the cut. Will be going back to have it “repaired”. It will probably take them time to understand what I want. Hopefully she would be able to put it right.

I always feel perfectly safe re covid worries as every precaution is taken but there’s still a relaxed and happy atmodphere

I visited Sands for the first time this afternoon & it was a very pleasant experience too. My stylist was Kaye &, although she'd never cut my hair before, the cut was excellent & certainly gets the thumbs up from me.
Won't hesitate & look forward to visiting the salon again.

A Very professional approach always . Debbie did my root colour and the senior male stylist ( sorry don’t know his name ) blow dried my hair beautifully . The young girl who washed my hair did a fab job too .

Fabulous Kaye Done a fabulous job highlights and a cut and blow dry I feel $1 million dollars walking out of there today i’ve already booked my next appointment .The salon was lovely and clean and I felt perfectly safe with the two meter rule still in place there thank you sands ?

Really enjoyed my visit to Sands today,. So relaxing, gentle head massage during my hair wash, a lovely chat with various people working in the salon. Also, I was provided with a great cup of coffee,. More to the point, I was most fabulously and incredibly happy with my hair colour and new shorter fringe. Had a lovely haircut with Debbie and the best head massage- hair wash I’ve ever had! So relaxing! Brilliant cut and lovely glossy hair.
My four year old daughter came in later for her trim and she loved every minute! They even had a special unicorn robe for the children! Stuart was great with her and did a wonderful job!

I have been going to Sands since it opened and would not go anywhere else.
Ceri is my stylist, however, other stylists have very successfully managed my hair. Ceri is particularly accommodating and alway offers the most professional and caring advice.
The salon is welcoming and very covid safe. Refreshments are offered and I always feel relaxed and comfortable.
I would highly recommend sands hair salon.

Just a perfect hairdressing experience. A beautiful salon, animal cruelty free products that left my hair looking and feeling nourished and shiny. Debbie perfected a creamy beige colour for my highlights and was warm and friendly. Endless coffee, attentive service and a thoroughly excellent experience. It’s clear it’s a real team effort at sands with everyone taking the time and trouble to have a chat. Lovely friendly atmosphere. Thank you x

Hassle free relaxing experience, Professional Friendly staff.

I have regularly attended Sands for over twenty years ... that is a recommendation in itself... I keep going back! I have always received a warm welcome - the salon has an incredibly friendly atmosphere - and, without exception, am terribly pleased with my Aveda hair colour and cut. I recommend Sands as I have yet to be disappointed, the customer service top notch , People working there are most professional, they have skilled stylists, nothing too much trouble to make the appointment a most enjoyable experience, The salon is immaculately clean, comfortable, stylish on decor, with a lovely outlook over Waterloo Gardens or Sands’ back garden of a myriad of potted plants, beautifully placed, very restful to look out onto. I consider myself a loyal customer to Sands and it’s staff members.
