Really happy with the highlight and cut Gary gave me today on my first visit. I went in with brassy, stripy candy floss hair and came out looking and feeling great with natural looking colour and bouncy healthy hair. Gary took car to listen and understood what my hair type needed. Would recommend abs will go back for sure. Also had a lovely hand massage and everyone was friendly. Nice salon.

Very happy with standard of service. Friendly, helpful staff, excellent coffee, Stuart knew exactly what to do with my hair. The head massage was lovely, maybe a little short, but I was happy enough. pity I wasn’t offered a hand massage like my sister had. I would have loved it.

Just what I expect: on time, friendly and attentive, thanks Kaye and Hannah. Bit noisy on Thursdays though.

The salon is bright and welcoming, each staff member I encountered was friendly and accommodating. My appointment was with Hannah, a friendly, talented young lady who did a marvellous, thorough job. I’m very happy with the results and have rebooked already.

A little expensive but guaranteed a good haircut

I have been coming to this Salon for around 8 years now and I always love the warm welcome, exceptional service and attention to detail that is delivered here. All staff are warm and friendly. Yes it is more expensive than other Salons but the Aveda products are wonderful and the quality of service is fab, the hand and arm massage is a special treat for a frazzled working mum! Debbie is amazing and understands how I like my hair. I am very fussy and she is always so patient and gets it right. I cannot afford to come monthly, but I would rather stretch it out and come here than go anywhere else.

As always, Director Stylist Carol was fabulous and faultless. Her scissors are speedy and efficient, her customer service second to none!

Went for a haircut and finish at sands salon,after moving into the srearea resently, had a guy called Stuart cut my hair, very experienced hair dresser and barber,understand ing exactly what I wanted in style..had a really relaxing head message and wash after .lovely hair products used, I recommend this salon in the future, l will be going back.well done sands,keep up the good work.

Stuart (lead technician) was able to recreate the look that I was after....best perm and service ever in a hairdressers.
He made my ‘bad’ haircut from another salon a distant memory. Thank you Sands ....absolutely fabulous!!

When I walk into a salon I can normally feel a sense of tension amongst staff. It’s natural not everyone gets along but at sands it was different. It felt like a family. Definitely a place I want to return to!

I brought in a photo and requested a short bob. I already had a bob but just wanted it cropped more as the back felt heavy. I am so disappointed and actually don’t know what to do with my hair. It is nothing like a bob! I feel quite depressed and thankfully it will grow!
My hairdresser however was lovely and I feel awful complaining but after paying £51 and getting a hairstyle I didn’t ask for is very very disappointing and a waste of money :(
