Broad Street Congresbury

My appointment was with Charlotte today. I asked about a new colour grey/blue and showed Charlotte a photo. After discussion with a colleague and myself we " went for it " and I am absolutely delighted with the final result. Charlotte listened to my requests and produced for me !!!!!!!
We have built up a " hair relationship " and I trust her totally.

I've been seeing Charlotte for over a year now and I am as always delighted with the outcome of my visits.

Always a special welcome from Ann at reception, very professional. Staff are friendly and my stylist, Sarah, is consistently excellent. However, the salon decor is not so good. Desperately in need of total refurbishment. For a training salon with not so cheap prices I expect a far better abience when having my hair done. Exposed pipe work, damp patches on ceiling, peeling paint, hair wash area depressing, a drain smell eminating from the staff area and dated work stations etc, etc. If this is meant to represent the Broadst chain of salons then it is severely lacking. If it wasn't for Sarah I would seek a salon elsewhere. About time profits were re-invested in the property. Come on Wayne and Tracy, you have a good product so invest in it.

I love the staff at broad street congresbury and they do a very good job on my hair EVERYTIME, but I must say the salon is in very much need of a complete refurbishment. e.g mould up the walls and sign out the front of salon is falling down. I also noticed some unfinished pipe work out the back of the salon which has a nasty smell. I think something needs to be done before you start losing customers including myself.

Anne the receptionist is an exceptional member of staff-I can't fault her, brilliant in every way. My hairdresser was equally as welcoming and informative. However I felt my appointment was rushed-someone was sat in my chair when I arrived and I had to wait 20mins to be seen (the lovely Anne made me tea whilst I waited). I felt I was over charged £46.95 considering I didn't have long in the chair. I'm not quite sure why it cost so much for a cut and blow dry?

I went in today on the off-chance that I could have my colour and straightening done and although the salon appeared busy, they fitted me on straight away. All the staff are so pleasant and professional, and I consistently get the right colour applied to my hair. A lovely hair treatment and massage, two decaffe coffees, and a lovely chat. I have long, thick light brown curly hair, but always come out with silky soft natural-looking straight blonde hair. Thanks very much all at Broad Street, Congresbury!

Really pleased. Jan is a lovely lady. She listened to me and really tried hard to give me the result that i was looking for and gave god advice. She has a lot of experience and brings this to her job. I would def recommend her. Nice salon and staff.

As usual I had a lovely treatment today from the wonderful Charlotte at Broad St Hair, Congresbury. Having my hair done with Charlotte is always an experience I look forward to. I'm always happy with what she does to my hair and she's also wonderfully personable and chatty. Thanks Charlotte!

Charlotte put my hair up for the annual Farmer's Ball and it was lovely and stayed up all night - in fact I had a real job to get all the pins out - but everyone commented on how good it looked. Thank you Charlotte for the time and care you took!

I have been lucky enough to have had Louise as my hair dresser for about 15 years now! Had my hair highlighted yesterday and cut and blow dried, as always a lovely experience coming to the friendly salon. I always thank Louise before I go but always find that my hair looks even better when I come home and look in my own mirror! So a Big Thanks to Louise for always doing a good job as well as passing on lots of useful hairdressing tips!
Just one thing - please replace the stairwell carpet before it walks away on its own, your customers and workers deserve it xx

Always feel welcome and valued.

Firstly the receptionist Ann is excellent, she could not be more attentive and she is one of the reasons I return. Kelly is my stylist and she is also attentive and talented. My more negative comments would be the salon itself which looks tired. I feel that the environment is important and shows a willingness to invest in the company and improve the client experience. I also feel that the? manager or owner Wayne should speak to all customers,he has spoken to me once in 2 years. I am a manager (in a different field)and so I notice this.All the stylists seem bubbly and friendly but it is quite segregated, almost as if stylists rent their chairs and must only speak to their own clients. Would I still go if Kelly or Ann left, probably not.

I have been coming to this salon since it opened. It is always a pleasurable and relaxing experience and today was no exception. All of the staff are very welcoming and friendly. Tracey is my stylist and has been brilliant (especially being sympathetic and going that extra mile when I needed it), Rhea is my colourist and is also my younger daughter's stylist. Also, Louise produced a wonderful style for my eldest daughter's hair for her wedding eighteen months ago. Thank you to everyone.

I've had my hair cut at a salon near my workplace in Bristol for the last year but having recently retired I've come back to Broad Street in Congresbury. I'd previously been a customer for many, many years and it was a great pleasure to be back. Sarah had always taken care of my hair before and, although I had something in mind, she made a couple of suggestions and the finished look was exactly right. She certainly has the right touch.

I am a very nervous person when it comes to trusting someone to cut my hair however the receptionist was so kimd and reassuring yet offered several options so there was absolutely no pressure. When i got to my appointment i had a kind stylist who listened to me and what i wanted plus took my face shape and work needs surrounding my hair in to account. I was offered a lovely cup of tea and biscuits and had a wonderfully pampered experience. I am genuinely super happy with my new look especially because it really is what i wanted and not what the sylist felt was best. I don't often write reviews because i know they're hard to believe but i did want to share this fantastic experience and all for such great value, thank you to all involved.

I have to be honest I have been to broad street a few times and have come away a little dissapionted, today however I am delighted. Jan was lovely and really took the time to understand what I was after, I didn't feel rushed and I was asked if I was happy every step of the way.

This was the first time I have visited Congresbury salon. Very impressed by calm inviting surroundings.
I had not seen Louise for several years. She remembered me and welcomed me in. She went on to do a very professional job of restyling and blow drying my hair.
I shall return in a few weeks time for a cut and blow dry

I visited Broad St Congresbury for the first time today and was very pleased with my experience. The staff were all smiley and friendly. Louise was my stylist and she was great. I'm very pleased with my hair cut. Will definitely be visiting again!

I am normally an incredibly difficult customer to please when it comes to getting my hair done and normally feel dissatisfied with how my hair turns out. However it was my first time at broad street Congresbury today and I couldn't recommend them more - I absolutely love my hair cut and dye, I couldn't have imagined it better myself! Was fitted in at very short notice. I needed a quick solution to my scarecrow hairdo and left an hour later with feeling thoroughly pampered and a fantastic new super smooth haircut. So happy I will be back. Thankyou.

Excellent service as always from Louise today. I would highly recommend this salon as not only for its great hair service but you are always greeted with a smile and hello and refreshments and fantastic head massages and a lot of laughs!
Over the passed year I have been going to Broadst regularly and after a consolation with Louise regarding my hair, she has made it her job to not only correct my hair but to make it look beautiful in style and colour. I could not be happier with the results and every time I return she makes my hair feel and look better. I am so pleased and would not hesitate to recommend Louise and would not go anywhere else!

I've been a regular of Broad Street for some time and have never been disappointed. Jan or Kelly are my regular stylists and always make me feel incredibly welcome and comfortable. They are more than happy to discuss styles or colours and listen to what I want and advise if it is possible to achieve.
I'm always well attended with a welcome coffee and relaxing shampoo and head massage. It's a lovely friendly atmosphere in the salon and Wayne and Tracey always take the time too say hello.
My only negatives are that the salon is looking a little tired in places now, especially the hair washing area which is dark and frankly a bit smelly.

Fantastic haircut today and also my two daughters, friendly staff and overall would highly recommend.
