Desperate for a good cut having had several bad experiences elsewhere I will now be a firm client

I was really excited to have my hair done here. Unfortunately it was not what I expected. Went in to get a colour and bleach process alone took 2 hours. They washed it off and it was brown, yellow and white. They then toned it and it was still patchy. They then went to put the colour on which was mostly on my forehead and then they left me alone for 30 minutes with the colour which didn’t change at all. At this point I was crying as it looked so bad and the whole process had taken 4 hours thus far. The manager barely offered any knowledge as to how to fix what had happened even asking me ‘what do you want me to do’ to which I replied ‘I don’t know I’m not a hairdresser.’ No one in the salon seemed to have any knowledge and all the girls were giggling and whispering to each other which made me really paranoid. It was a very bad atmosphere! I asked for them to wash off the patchy and cheap product and I left with wet hair. They then had the audacity to ask me to pay for the whole mess. Worst hairdressing experience ever.

I was kept waiting for mt 1.45 appointment for 15-20 minutes. During the time I had my hair coloured & cut there was no interest in me as a person. The guy who cut my hair left me on at least 3 occasions to answer the phone as no receptionist.

As always, cheerful, friendly expert service. Always a pleasure, never a chore!

As usual a lovely experience. Ada at Bond St, Bath cuts my hair. I have received so many compliments since she started styling my hair and each time I visit she revises how she cuts based on how the previous cut grew out. I would definitely recommend.

Usual excellent service marred by the girl who removed my foils & washed my hair I felt in a really vulnerable position as my foils were wrenched out of my head. When washing the water was boiling hot at first & then cold until I complained. ‘Sorry about thatshe chirped with Trump like sincerity I have no idea what she was doing perhaps trying to get something out of a bottle but a continuous thudding rocked the whole basin along with my head. I suggest if you need reluctant clients to give you information she’d be a perfect interrogator

I know most of the team at T&G and always make you feel most welcome. This visit was no exception. Everyone leaves with a smile on their face. Thanks you lot! And of course Molly a fab haircut again.

Overall atmosphere was really nice and I like the idea that it’s a small salon because it feels more personal. Everyone working there is really nice and it gives a lively feel! Would definitely recommend and will come back soon!

I booked in last minute for a blow dry as we’re here on a mini break! It was one of the best blow dries I’ve ever had and has lasted through the night and until the next morning. The guy that did it was friendly and made me feel at ease! Fantastic! I wish I could take him back to London with me!

When I go to the hairdresser I like to go in, not wait around and leave again ASAP! That’s exactly what happens every single time at Toni and Guy in new Bond Street- really professional efficient service and staff always helpful and friendly. They seem like a good team.
Prices are reasonable -my one query would be that the pricing system seems a bit opaque to me. It may not be to the staff but it certainly is to me. I seem to pay a different price each time for balayage - and it wasn’t properly explained to me why - nor that I can have express tints at least once inbetween - they are really good value and bring down the price of hair colouring massively.
Also the cutting area on the right downstairs is a bit cramped for 4 people.
But other than that I’ve been a customer there for many years and can highly recommend.
