It was my first time meeting Andrew today and felt completely at ease with him and confident in trusting his advise and expertise. The experience wasn’t rushed, I was listened to and most importantly left the salon happy with the end result! Receptionist, sorry not sure of her name is always so lovely and helpful too as was the young lady who expertly washed my hair!

I’ve been having my hair highlighted, cut and styled at S&B for almost 8 years now. Andrew, Hannah and Kirsty know me and my curly-haired quirks quite well now! They are always most professional but still personable and genuinely interested in how I am and what I’d like doing with my hair. The whole team there are amazing- so friendly, so helpful and so attentive. Tea on tap, and they even pay towards your car parking! Clients are so well-looked after and the stylists are all talented, well-trained and very professional. It’s such a wonderful salon- impeccable service, high ends products and faultless finishes every time - would highly recommend any of the stylists there! My teenage daughter also loves S&B and insists that she has Kate to cut her hair every time. Thank you S&B for looking after me again today! :)

As always I had a great experience with Sutherland and Barnett from being greeted by name at the door by Amber. Hayley has been cutting my hair for years but as she is soon leaving, I had Natalie cut my hair today. I'm really happy with the cut and Natalie herself and have booked my next appointment with her. I can't recommend S&B highly enough!

Went to visit my second family again today , at Sutherland & Barnett, from Hannah , my lovely hair colour and a truly wonderful haircut from Craig again , always slightly different each time , both are amazing .

Love my colour by Hannah, she’s always so lovely and friendly. Craig was brilliant and managed to fit me in for a cut as well, which I love.

Left the salon feeling great as usual, having had a colour and cut. My hair looks fab, super shiny and styled just the way I like it. As always, the staff do everything to make sure you have a pleasant and relaxing time - from refreshments to relaxing massage chairs at the wash stations. I’m sad to say goodbye to Hayley, but excited for the next stage in her life and I already know I’ll be in great hands with Hannah and Craig for my next appointment.

Kate is a really skilled and experienced stylist. She always listens to what you would like and gives you good advice. The salon is also a great place to be stylish and everyone is friendly. Great coffee too.

Going to Sutherland and Barnett gives me a warm feeling as soon as I walk in the door, with that perfect mix of friendliness and professionalism. I asked the lovely young lady who washed my hair how long she’d been there - and then I realised I’ve been a customer for eight years! I am a lazy customer and only manage to make it in 3 times a year; Craig is really philosophical about this, but as I always look and feel great when I leave, I resolve in future to make it four times a year.

I had highlights and roots done today. My hair looks amazing thanks to Jess. Thank you so much Jess.

I always, and I mean ALWAYS get comments on my hair after I’ve been into the salon. Jess knows my hair better than I do and always does an amazing job. I recently moved to Nottingham and was looking for a new hairdresser, I’m very happy to have found Sutherland and Barnett after such a great first experience. Jack did an amazing job with my hair which is particularly difficult. He created exactly what I was imagining, was very professional and had great attention to detail with a lot of colour work to be done. Couldn’t be happier with the result. This was my 3rd visit and couldn't be happier. Jess has helped me with her expertise and guidance to transition from brunette with large amount of grey to ash blonde.. I'm delighted with my new and much easier to deal with hair colour and new style..
