I haven’t been to a salon in years and was very nervous due to previous bad experiences. This time however was great. Kayley was very kind and answered any questions I had

I went for a different style today. Typically Kayley gave a lot of thought as to how to achieve the style as I have thin very straight hair. Due to her talent, skill & knowledge she achieved exactly what I wanted. I was delighted with the result. Thank you so much Kayley

Niamh has been my hairdresser for 3 1/2 years. She is incredibly professional & experienced. She has a lovely caring and kind nature.

I’ve been using Ruby’s for a few years now and very happy! Niamh is super friendly and always cuts my hair exactly how I ask whilst also making suggestions and sharing her knowledge. My hair feels and looks amazing! Prices are higher than other nearby salons but you get what you pay for and the service and cut are worth it.

Niamh has been my hairdresser for years. I love her, she is a pro at colouring and I trust her entirely to cut my hair how I like it everytime. She is always up for helping mix it up when I get bored too. Always feels a treat and like I'm catching up with an old friend each time I come in for a haircut.
The salon is syper welcoming and clean with a great vibe x

I always absolutely love my colour. Such a welcoming and professional salon. It always looks immaculate and I always feel so welcome and valued. My hair is always exactly what I ask for and Ruby is just so lovely to chat to and makes you feel in totally safe hands.

Kayley is an exceptionally good hairdresser. I have unruly hair and I am not the best at taking care of it. Nevertheless, Kayley sorts it all out and I am always pleased with the results of her expertise. I always feel relaxed and looked after by her and other staff. Well done Ruby Hook hairdressing 😃

After not having stepped inside a salon for over 25 years, and now experiencing hair problems related to medical conditions, it was rather a scary thing to do. Marie was, however, the perfect person to deal with all my worries … not only is she an extremely knowledgeable and talented hairdresser, she is kind, understanding and thoughtful. I left feeling confident in her advice and able to make positive changes going forward.

I thought my Stylist was lovely and friendly , however I was not happy with the fact when I choose my colour that halfway through colouring my hair they ran out of the actual colour .
The stylist then proceeded to mix another colour and the result was a lot of red/mahogony colour came out as the end result.
We had discussed that I I had previously a slight shade of red in my previous hair growing out and didn’t want that again just a nice rich brown as per my natural colour .
Therefore I was quite disappointed in the end result and have never experienced a salon running out of a colour whilst doing my hair

What a great salon experience - Ruby & the team are professional and always warm! Salon space is clean, bright, chic & welcoming. My stylist Jess is highly personable and professional, she really listens, and I am consulted at every step of the colour and cut. I love how they also work seamlessly as a team, asking each others opinions on my colour /toner etc where necessary, so it feels like I have the whole salon’s expertise on tap! Leadership are clearly doing all the right things as this salon is a happy ship. Great vibe. Highly recommended!

Niamh is always amazing! She always provides a fantastic service and is able to control my frizzy, curly and unruly hair. Niamh always provides great suggestions for styling and cutting my hair. I always leave the salon with shiny, glossy hair styled perfectly thanks to Niamh’s attention to detail.

Always a great experience. Elle is friendly and professional, she listens to how you would like your haircut to go. She is tentative and a perfectionist. After having the same hairdresser for nearly 30 years, when I moved to Towcester 16 months ago I never thought I would find a hairdresser straightaway that would make me feel at ease and totally happy with the results, but Elle do from the first cut. I would totally recommend Elle and so look forward to my appointments. All the team are welcoming.

I have been going to Kayley for nearly 2 years for baby lights. She helped me figure out what i was envisioning and made it a reality. She has been so attentive on every appointment and she is absolutely incredible! My hair is always beautifully done. My hair appointments truly are a pamper day for me- treated to many cappuccinos and biscoff biscuits throughout! The attention to detail in the salon is second to none- all that work there are so friendly and welcoming and make the whole experience so much better. 100% recommend if you want an incredible service and an even better result!

I've been going here for years and only had reason to complain on 2 occasions. The 1st time, the issues were properly owned and sorted so I was happy to return. Unfortunately this 2nd time, there was reluctance to accept my constructive feedback on process improvements to help the stylists do their job consistently, which i don't think is fair on the stylists.. that's why i am not naming them in this review.
I expect and understand humans make mistakes. How these are dealt with is the more important thing for me and what that means for future service. Unfortunately I've lost faith in this salon and won't be going back.

Niamh has been working her magic on my hair for sometime now. She always listens to what I want, whilst also being honest on what she thinks might work best. My hair is now in such good condition, with my colour exactly how I hoped it would be.
It always feels like such a treat to go into the salon, which is gorgeous! I feel so well looked after by all of the team, and as a mother of two little ones, it's just the pamper that's needed.

I love coming to see Niamh, she listens to everything I say and we work together to get the best out of the time I have in her chair. I always leave feeling wonderful again - if she could come and curl my hair every morning too that would be fantastic!

Elle was excellent. Gave great advice how to care for my hair and the new style. We chatted and was made to feel important to her. I have rebooked with Elle.

Lovely experience again today. Cut and blow dry with such a lot of advice so I can get the best results at home. Texture spay, who new!
