Not a great experience. I’m not normally one to complain, however this was the worst hair salon experience I have had. The whole time the two girls where putting my highlights in they complained about other customers and the branch manager. I felt very awkward. The hairdresser didn’t listen to anything I asked for. I even showed her a picture but she wasn’t interested. She was more interested in joining in the gossip. Who seemed to be causing a lot of negative energy in the branch. I do just want to point out that there was 2 other hairdressers in the salon who seemed very good and very professional. I definitely won’t be returning to the salon but if I had booked with one of them my experience could of been different. I am extremely disappointed with my colour and cut with many people commenting that my hair doesn’t even look like it has been done.

Emma did a fantastic job with my highlights and re fitting my nano extensions Im really pleased with her work. I have a couple of comments firstly last time I came it was £130 I think this time it cost £171. Which was more than I was expecting although I'm guessing she did more things this time?? I did ask when I booked the cost of my second visit and was told it would be less then the first time because Emma was a lower grade stylist. I'm not complaining but it was a lot £171 and I had no idea until I paid it was that much.
I also did mention that I am still able to see my grey at the rootline she said it would not show after my next visit so hopefully it will be gone after. She explained it was because I had an allover colour the first time and that was why my regrowth was so visible.
I love Emmas work I just wounder if there's a way to advise on costs for things during the appointment. I will be phoning in next week to confirm the cost for Dec appointment because I'm worried the costs will be even higher which would be unaffordable for me.

Becca is incredibly professional and always knows exactly what to do. My hair is a little difficult as half of it is platinum blonde and half of it is black, but Becca manages to get it right every single time. I’ve had trouble at other salons where they can’t bleach and tone my hair correctly to get the perfect white blonde, but Becca is a master at it and has never left my hair yellow. She also knows exactly what would suit me and always helps me decide on the perfect cut.
Contemporary itself is a lovely environment, very clean and very good vibes all round! Love the complimentary drinks too.

I had my hair blowdryed for my hen do and asked for it to be curled. The curls fell out within an hour of leaving the salon was really disappointed .
