I was very happy with the service. Kirsty did a great job and all the girls in there are lovely!

My hair was shoulder length and I went in as a model on Thursday 12th Feb and had my hair cut and restyled by Hayley Suggitt and it was great! I showed her a pic of something I liked and she went it mostly but gave me advice and suggested a slightly different way to style my hair, which was great and I left the salon loving my new hair! Would definitely recommend her.

We took our 7-year-old daughter for a haircut at Contemporary Yarm and it was a great experience from start to finish. She was made to feel really well looked after and at ease throughout the appointment. I can’t recall the name of the stylist, but the haircut took place on 14 January at 5:15pm and the care and attention were excellent.

The cut itself was lovely and exactly what we’d hoped for — so much so that our daughter has been proudly showing off her hair at school! We’d happily return and would recommend Contemporary Yarm for children’s haircuts

A first class experience at Contemporary once again. My hair was listless after Christmas but thanks to Sam's expertise I came out looking refreshed with a nice bouncy cut and shiny hair. Highly recommend the treatments here especially the Loreal one, well worth paying for. Sam makes the whole experience pleasurable and I always feel like a valued client here. Thank you!

Amazing as always lovely salon.

Needed my hair sorting for my upcoming three week long haul trip. Sam did a brilliant job as always and it's now easily manageable. So pleased to see the Kerastase treatments back. These are the best ever treatments and really restore the shine and texture of my hair. Well worth it. Another great visit to the salon thanks to Sam.

Cut and blow dry is okay, but for £45-50 it’s not amazing. Service is slow and cold.

I was feeling frustrated with my hair on this visit and Sam was brilliant at suggesting how she might adapt the cut to make it easier to dry. Result - it looks much better and is taking less time to dry and style. I am delighted with the outcome. It is always a great experience to visit Contemporary, an immaculate, well run salon where the staff are very friendly and approachable. The offer of a complimentary head massage when you go in is also a nice touch! Thank you.
