Have been client for good number of years and even though I have moved away I still come back as wouldn't trust my hair to anyone else. My hair seems to retain it's shape well between cuts, which I guess is the hallmark of a good stylist, and am always very happy with highlights. Highly recommended.

Visited salon a month before the event in case my hair was cut too short. I was pleased with cut as I have been able to manage it myself. The cut isn't too short and is rasilt styled by myself, which is just what I requested.

First visit to John at Saks, Skipton for complete restyle yesterday.
(Well, when I say restyle, I really mean 'style-in-the-first-place' having not visited a salon for about four years!)
I went in looking like Cousin Itt from the Addams family & emerged, joyfully, with a shiny, beautifully-cut bob a la Sandie Shaw (look her up, she's from the Olden Days =D)
John was lovely - reassuring, focused, very knowledgeable and friendly. Not surprisingly for someone with twenty years experience, he's EXTREMELY good at what he does. He listened carefully to what I wanted & explained how best to achieve it with my particular hair in mind.
I left the salon very happy, to great compliments from my whole family about my new hair.
I'll thoroughly recommend Saks, Skipton and especially John, to everyone I meet, and I'll be booking John to do my hair on the morning of my daughter's wedding in December! (I know, it's only May - but I like to be prepared and I BET John gets booked up early!)

My first experience of Saks Skipton today and what a good one from start to finish. Friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere, professional attitude, excellent skills. Thrilled with my colour and cut and the excellent head massage! Would definitely recommend.

This was my first visit to Saks, Skipton. It will not be my last. I have very fine hair which is difficult to do much with, woke up today, day after cut and it is still good. Unheard of usually for me. Was brought a lovely coffee and biscuit, didn't have to wait, service good and had a head massage whilst having hair washed. Excellent. Julie Wakefield

Booked in with Jodie for a blow dry and curling for a night out after she was recommended by a friend. Jodie was so welcoming and lovely she talked through exactly what it was I wanted first. I left the salon feeling amazing and completely relaxed. I had so many compliments on my night out. I will definitely be back soon thank you ????

I'm new to the area, and after having the same hairdresser for 20 years I was dubious about a new salon. I needn't have worried, Claire cut and coloured my hair and was so lovely and fun, she instantly put my mind at rest. Was a lovely experience from start to finish and I'm already booked in for my next appointment! Thanks Claire, and the rest of the girls. One very happy customer!

Jess listened to my requirements and produced great results. The colour was so natural and she cut my hair really well. Will definitely return for my next cut and colour.

Friendly and welcoming and an excellent hair cut by John

I was very impressed with the good advice I was given about which style to have, and very impressed with the cut itself. I don't usually like going to the hairdressers because people usually expect you to chat non-stop. But on this occasion I felt very comfortable being fairly quiet and switching off.

Thank you to Skipton Saks. I returned yesterday, Wednesday 9th March after moving away for a few years. The staff remembered me and I had the fab Jodie, who had been my hairdresser. Super advise and hair cut with a brilliant blow dry too.

From the moment I walked in the door I felt at ease and a valued customer. The staff were very friendly & obviously enjoyed their job.
My hair was cut & styled by Jodie, who was lovely & listened to the many problems I had with my hair, she was very confident she could sort it out for me, which she did. Although it's a work in progress I was absolutely delighted with the style when she had finished. Will definitely be going back again.

I've had a few bad experiences with hairdressers so haven't been to one for 6 months when my mum recommended saks. I've had hair extensions so my hair was a bit on the thin side and damaged. Jess was great, she gave me loads of hair care advice, got my colour spot on and talked me into having a cut which I actually love! Would highly recommend and have rebooked !

Good cut...but a little shorter than I had wanted round my ears...didn't notice to hair 'settled down'. Lovely relaxing salon & a great head massage & green tea!

I booked a last minute appointment just before Christmas and was lucky to get a space. I didn't really know what I wanted doing with my hair (trim or a restyle) but Shawny was very patient and helpful and as a result I got a short blunt Bob I've wanted for ages! Really impressed; will be coming back, thank you.

As a natural curly head - prone to frizz - I have had a number of unfortunate and down-right depressing hairdressing experiences. Thankfully these are now firmly in my past. Since I have been having my hair cut and coloured by Shawny, at Saks Skipton, I have received lots of compliments about my barnet. I now wear my hair with pride!
