As well as a friendly welcome, the service here is brilliant. I arrived here with hair which was over processed and needed an over hall. Andrea was brilliant. I have now been getting my hair done here for the last 6 months and the transformation in colour and condition of my hair is amazing. Its never an easy step trying out a new hairdresser, but I cannot recommend Andrea and her team enough. The salon is also spotless, altogether a cut above the rest in Knaresborough !

i rang to see if there was availability for same day wash, dry and straighten. Luckily there was. Junior washed my hair, lovely head massage! Jess dried and straightened, she was amazing and really friendly and my hair looks fantastic.

I usually hate the hairdressers, hence why I can only bring myself to go once a year if that! I get super nervous at the time and I never like the end result.
But Saks made me feel so comfortable as they were friendly and great at giving advice on what I'd need doing to my bedraggled hair!
So pleased with result! I don't remember the last time I came out of a salon happy! I now have a fresh, healthy and tidy trim I'm now proud of!

Walked in and only had to wait a few minutes. Jess cut my hair and she asked lots of questions to ensure she knew what I needed. She was very polite and friendly, making me feel special. Hair looks best it has for years and I will definitely be going back.

Visited the salon for the first time for my 8 he old daughter to have her long hair reshaped and trimmed.
Extremely dissapointed-the stylist was totally imcompetent-hardly took the ends off and didn't listen to my request.Not capable of creating waves with straighteners-could have done a better job myself.Looked no different than when we came in.Not welcoming/friendly especially the manager who is just rude and no customer skills.
Would not recommend and will not be going back

Visiting Knaresborough, made later appointment with Jess. Lovely girl, really nice job on my hair. Would definitely recommend.

I went in and asked for a straight cut the same length all the way round sitting a few cm below me shoulders which is a simple request. When i looked in the mirror i knew instantly that she'd gone shorter it sat on top of my shoulders. But I didn't want to make a fuss as the damage was done. It wasn't until I got home that I realised the absolute mess she had made. It wasn't properly straight at the back and she'd angled it at the front after I specifically asked her not too as it destroys the looks I usually do with my hair. Safe to say that I will never use saks again.

I phoned late this afternoon to see if there was any chance of having my haircut. Andrea was very accommodating & was happy for me to come. I've had a lovely haircut & thoroughly enjoyed my first visit to Saks in Knaresborough.

Had a great experience getting my hair done! Jess made sure she met my hair needs and the end result was fabulous! Would defiantly recommend and will be visiting for further services :)

I booked a cut and style after my own hairdresser had gone on maternity leave, I was very nervous as I haven't had my hair cut by anyone else for years, had a lovely experience, very pleasant great service, will definitely be back.

I recently had my hair put up for a wedding. I do not live in the area so not my regular hairdresser but I was very pleased with my hair.
The stylist was Jess & she did what I asked for & also fitted me in earlier than my appointment.
Lovely, friendly salon & I wouldn't definitely use if I lived in the area.

Managed to get a short notice appointment with Andrea . After a consultation she cut my hair exactly how I wanted it and offered advice as she cut it . Busy with very pleasant staff , will definitely return .

Iam absolutely delighted with my new hair style,and colour, having explained to Louise what I was wanting her to do, she listened, and executed the style and colour perfectly,making me feel like a new me! Brilliant service,friendly, Its great to have a Saks in Knaresborough,I wasn't sure what to expect at first, its always daunting trying a new salon when your very happy with the one you have,but this is alot more convenient for me,and I would definitely,say to people give it a try!

I was a little bit apprehensive about visiting Saks as I have been going to my usual hairdressers for over 10 years (it's quite a big thing for a girl to have a new hairdresser!). I don't know why I was worrying as Andrea put me at complete ease, talked me through what she was doing, what products she was using and what we can do to repair my hair so we can achieve the look I'm aiming for going forward. Andrea was very friendly, professional, but most importantly Andrea listened to what I had to say. I would 100% recommend Saks to my friends & family. So happy with the results and I can't wait for my next appointment!

Had my hair done on a Saturday before Easter Sunday and it was quite quiet to my surprise! All the staff were very friendly and my hair was done by Caroline and I have to say she was brilliant!! Absolutely love my hair and she was very chatty. Would definitely go back! Thank you x

I wasn't too sure how I wanted my hair styling just knew I wanted more volume as I have fine hair . Caroline created the perfect beehive style with lovely curls tucked around . Very professional and I am delighted with the result .

Brilliant haircut

I had my hair coloured and cut by the lovely Caroline, who spent lots of time making sure my hair was perfect before I left the salon. It's nice to feel so pampered and I'm looking forward to showing off my lovely new style when I go out this evening. I will recommend Saks to my friends and family ????

I have been stuck in a rut for a number of years tending to over colour my hair. My new colour and cut from Louise is absolutely fantastic- all my family love it!!

Having not had my hair cut for a year, I visited this newly opened salon in sheer desperation as couldn't get an appointment elsewhere.

The salon was lovely, clean and pleasant. My stylist Andrea was lovely and took time to chat about what I wanted before my cut. She talked me through everything as she was doing it and asked my opinion as she worked making sure she understood my preferences. The final result was a lovely cut and healthy looking hair.

Had it not being for their opening offer, I wouldn't have been able to afford to visit a Saks salon, so it was a lovely treat.

Extremely pleased with cut, very easy to style at home. Would highly recommend.
