Lovely friendly stylist who always asks your opinion, gives advice and cuts your hair well.

It was the best experience having my hair styled by the lovely Sarah. She listened to everything I said and talked me through her suggestions . And she was right on every count. My colour is fab and her cutting skills and attention to finish are fantastic. Thank you for putting a smile on my face 😊

Very unhappy lady was very rushed I understood but it wasn’t a nice experience. Quite rough on hair wash make up ran and knew I was going straight to a wedding no mention of temperature. I was told as a new client I would pay half price but I didn’t. Hardly anything cut off, no attention to detail and the fringe was not even done that we’d discussed. I’d asked for a wave with straighteners but she curled with tongs very unhappy experience. The lady was on her own not ideal but I wouldn’t go back

Always an amazing experience

I had not been to this salon before today, i found the staff to be extremely nice and reassuring, i felt very relaxed having my long hair cut and my new style was amazing it was a fantastic experience, i look forward to returning in the future

I love coming to the salon, they spoil you, Andrea is a magician with scissors. Can't recommend them highly enough.

First time with Andrea for a colour/highlights. She did a fab job of helping me decide what I wanted based around maintenance and the fact I’m trying to have a more natural look. I had some lovely highlights out through the ends and yummy caramel and chocolate colouring through it. Absolutely love it. Thank you.

Very professional, curtious and helpful. I recently died my hair blue, non permanent wash out with regular shampoos. My hair was needing a complete overhaul due to its length and poor condition. The blue dye is still a gentle hue and my crowning hair has been brought back to life. I love my hair and style now! A new me! Love it! Thank you so much Andrea. Joanne.

After receiving what could only be described as a disastrous colour and less than awful cut by a highly recommended hairdresser in Harrogate, I have now been rescued by Andrea at saks in Knaresborough! I feel human again. Thoroughly professional, very clearly experienced and the whole lot reasonably priced. Will be returning.

Had highlights, cut and a blow dry. Andrea led the way and helped with the colour choices. I have a LOT of hair and the highlights took a lot longer than expected, but the team managed it really well. They were super friendly and knew what I wanted more than I did. Left very happy

Had my hair put up for a black tie gala, I was thrilled, exactly what I asked for and got complimented all evening. I love this salon and will certainly be returning

Had my hair put up for a special occasion it didn’t look nice sadly I had no time or courage to complain I left very disappointed. Even friends agreed very poor styling. Stylist also tried to charge me more than quote on phone. No atmosphere I was only client.

So upset with my cut that I cried . I asked for a nice mid length haircut and showed a photo to show exactly what I wanted . I asked for no layering or thinning and I got the opposite my layeringdidn’t even look like layering there were just long and short strands of hair . I feel so self conscious now :( I know saks are good but I’m so upset with the result

Not only am I always extremely happy with my hair on leaving Saks, I can honestly say I LOVE my visits here, I feel like I’m visiting family, the staff are so warm and welcoming, it’s important to me to feel comfortable and Saks have got it spot on! - thanks for making me feel a million dollars again,

Very happy with cut and service this morning. Will be back

My first visit to Saks in Knaresborough and booked with Sarah. Fancied a new look and after showing Sarah a photo of what I was looking for she got straight to it. Lots of useful tips about how to style the new look and also not to wash my hair every day (I’ve managed it so far lol) to improve its condition.

Great cut and good service. Highly recommend Sarah.
