Saks Hair in Knaresborough

Had my first cut and blow dry on Tuesday and I will be returning Andrea was very honest and a lovely lady who did my hair just as I wanted thankyou

Was happy last year in October but this year ***** wasn’t very focused on me . She kept on picking up her phone about her friend coming over to hers to fix something . She thinned out my hair even though I said not to and gave me loads of split ends because her scissors slipped . Take my interest in clients

Poor atmosphere got a quote for the price on the phone but ended up paying more . Meant to be £70 paid £91

After receiving what could only be described as a disastrous colour and less than awful cut by a highly recommended hairdresser in Harrogate, I have now been rescued by Andrea at saks in Knaresborough! I feel human again. Thoroughly professional, very clearly experienced and the whole lot reasonably priced. Will be returning.

Had highlights, cut and a blow dry. Andrea led the way and helped with the colour choices. I have a LOT of hair and the highlights took a lot longer than expected, but the team managed it really well. They were super friendly and knew what I wanted more than I did. Left very happy

Had my hair put up for a black tie gala, I was thrilled, exactly what I asked for and got complimented all evening. I love this salon and will certainly be returning

Had my hair put up for a special occasion it didn’t look nice sadly I had no time or courage to complain I left very disappointed. Even friends agreed very poor styling. Stylist also tried to charge me more than quote on phone. No atmosphere I was only client.

Had a fantastic cut by Joey, he really understood my hair, I will be back

So upset with my cut that I cried . I asked for a nice mid length haircut and showed a photo to show exactly what I wanted . I asked for no layering or thinning and I got the opposite my layeringdidn’t even look like layering there were just long and short strands of hair . I feel so self conscious now :( I know saks are good but I’m so upset with the result

Visited the salon today do the first time. Had my hair done by Sarah. I absolutely love it.

I love the way Andrea cuts my hair & always listens to what I want but suits me.

Fitted myself and my little girl in at very short notice, lovely staff & brilliant with my 5 year old!

Not only am I always extremely happy with my hair on leaving Saks, I can honestly say I LOVE my visits here, I feel like I’m visiting family, the staff are so warm and welcoming, it’s important to me to feel comfortable and Saks have got it spot on! - thanks for making me feel a million dollars again,

My first visit to Saks in Knaresborough and booked with Sarah. Fancied a new look and after showing Sarah a photo of what I was looking for she got straight to it. Lots of useful tips about how to style the new look and also not to wash my hair every day (I’ve managed it so far lol) to improve its condition.

Great cut and good service. Highly recommend Sarah.

not very happy with my cut and colour by Joey . He was very nice and made me feel comfortable , however my hairs end result wasn’t what I had hoped for

I was new to the area, & desperate to have my hair ‘done’. I needed the ‘full works’. At my age ( over 60), that involved a full colour & deep conditioning treatment. Having had the same hairdresser for over 20 years, l was more than a little hesitant in make my my decision. ! However, the service l received, & the standard of professional ‘help’ my hair received was exemplary. I have no hesitation in wholeheartedly recommending this Salon. First visit and a nervous one as I’d been at my previous Salon for 14yrs! But Joseph was brilliant, made me feel very relaxed, the Salon atmosphere was very friendly and I’m looking forward to my next appointment.

Joe is amazing and a hairdresser who you can trust.

Beautifully kept salon, a lovely warm welcome by all staff. Joseph cut my hair to a really high standard and I am really fussy when it comes to hair!!! I have already rebooked to come back looking forward to visiting again.
