After being blonde for over 20 years, changing my hair was never going to be “just a hair appointment” for me. My hair has always been my crown, and changing it feels like part of a much bigger period of personal growth for me in letting go of an old version of myself and embracing the new.

This was my first appointment with Kate and I was a little nervous. However, I, honestly couldn’t be happier that she’s the person to start this new hair journey with. From the minute I sat in her chair, she was warm, kind, and understanding. She listened, I mean properly listened, and made me feel completely comfortable and settled about what was actually a mammoth change for me.

What was particularly endearing was you can tell Kate genuinely cares. She becomes invested in you, your hair and where you want to get to. It doesn’t feel like you’re just another client in her chair or that she’s trying to get you in and out. She wants the end result as much as you do, but she also cares about getting you there in the right way and keeping your hair healthy along the way. Her knowledge is incredible. She talked me through everything she was doing and why, what my hair needed and what was realistic. I felt like I could completely hand over the reins and trust her and even covered up the mirror for a very pleasant big reveal! 😂

I would recommend her in a heartbeat, a lovely soul inside and out who knows her craft 🥰

So my husband told me two days before my nephew's wedding that our electric would be off from 8am ! A frantic race to find an appointment for Monday morning found me at Saks Burton waters. Liv was wonderful, she listened to what I hoped for, made suggestions and created a beautiful style, what a lovely young woman, she understood I was on a tight schedule and worked wonders.. would highly recommend and will be back for sure . I needed a good blow dry for a gathering event, Liv easily understood exactly what I wanted I have thick and curly hair with some baby hairs which can be annoying! But she did it perfectly. She is professional and friendly, will def be back again

The staff here are polite and professional, however twice now I’ve felt that I’ve come out of the salon and the cut hasn’t met my expectations. The colour is great but the cut not so so I feel that I am not listened to.

Kate was so good with my little girl and she was so calming and lovely; so much so that my little one (nearly 2 years old) just sat in the chair and enjoyed her hair being brushed and trimmed. The biscuit at the end for her was also a win win! Thank you Kate for a great first haircut experience for her.

Kate trimmed the left side of my hair, as she thought it looked uneven, but to be honest it now looks shorter on the left side than the right side now and a bit lopsided.

Experienced stylist and very helpful. l have very short fine hair. It doesn’t take long to blow dry yet there is no difference in your pricing structure which l find unfair . Saks should consider this
