I dropped in for a wash and blow dry today, unable to wash my hair at home after a cataract operation. The welcome was friendly. My hair was washed thoroughly and gently, and Alicia blow dried and styled it expertly and effortlessly. I loved the massage chair and the head massage. All great. Couldn’t have asked for anything more. Thank you!

As usual, my visit to Yan's hair salon on Queens Road, Leicester was a special time for me. I'm still thinking about it several days later.
Sam has done my hair a few times now and as usual, before doing anything at all, except to greet me, she took time to listen to my ideas, ensuring that she properly understood what I was trying to convey and then, enthusiastically and with direction but always with her unique expertise, she took the greatest care of my hair and of me.
I felt reassured by Sam and every other person working on the team that afternoon and on previous occasions, that what they wanted was for me to feel happy within the salon and also, from the second I stepped outside.
A joy and a delight. My thanks to Sam and to everyone for ensuring my comfort and welcome, not forgetting Yan.

I had Savas and Mihaela today and both were fantastic. I love the Aveda colours they use and the cut was great. They always know what products to use on my hair and are really friendly and make you feel at home. Love Yan’s!

I’ve never been to Yans before, I popped in without an appointment on the off chance and lucky for me they had a cancellation. I’ve got very long hair and I’m precious over who cuts it, however glad I took a gamble. Alicia was lovely, great trim and blow dry. Really good hair wash by one of the men there (didn’t catch his name). Overall very impressed and will definitely book again!

Once again I’m so happy with my colour and cut - I was able to say exactly what I wanted and the colour and style Robert did was perfect. It is easy to book an appointment and I always feel well looked after when I am at the salon by the whole team

Me and my daughter went to have our hair done today. We were both new client's at the salon and we both had a restyle and finish. The salon is spotless and all members of staff were lovely and made us feel very welcome Yan did my hair and Allicia did my daughters hair. Both stylist are brilliant. An enjoyable experience as always from the team at Yan's. Everyone is so welcoming; I'm very happy with Sav's cut, colour and blow-dry; Jadyn's hair wash and head massage was most relaxing; Robb's chat about the 72 hour hair smoothing treatment has given me something to think about!

For someone with curly hair who likes to keep it curly, this was the best experience I have had at a hairdressers for a long time.. Alicia understands curly hair and how it differs from person to person. She asks the right questions and takes notice to give you a great result. Amazing head massage in a massage chair whilst my hair was washed. Will go back there.
