About us

Our Saks Poulton salon offers hair in the heart of the beautiful town of Poulton-le-Fylde. Specialising in all aspects of hairdressing including having stylists at L’Oréal Colour degree levels. We also provide Raccoon hair extensions, bridal hair and luxury L’Oréal Professionnel hair treatments.

Cancellation policy: Although we understand you may need to cancel or reschedule from time to time, we’ll need at least 48 hours’ notice (and 7 days for bridal). If only 24 hours’ notice is given a 50% charge will apply. For cancellations made on the day full payment will be required. Sometimes customers just don’t turn up so we really appreciate your help and understanding with this.

I was so lucky to try Saks. Ella washed my hair and gave me a head massage. Just lovely!
Rachel cut and styled my hair and I so welcomed her valuable advice and her ideas. I bought a couple of products and left feeling good about my hair for the first time in ages. I loved the experience and have booked again.

The colour is not as I wanted, it looks dull and tired, the cut is uneven, too short, not what I asked for and looks nothing like the pictures shown which I know is easily achievable with my hair. There was dye around my face and little attempt to clean it off. After the rough blow dry no attempt was made to finish my hair, the picture I had shown were wavy. All for £152.00

Apologies since I’m dreadful at remembering names. Faces, figures and accents in that order. A rather skilfully multitasking Melbournite made a masterpiece out of a home made mullet … and in doing so transformed the owner from a Carl Fogarty look a like into …and I quote ‘A very distinguished distinctive gentleman’ …followed by …are you an actor ??. Okay the bar was set low since it all occurred in The Elk (Wetherspoons) ?

Hi my daughter a student saves to come to Emma who she loves doing her hair for the last year . Emma has cut and slighly curled my daughters hair today, got home a realised as the curls have settled that its a tad too long, she rang back for her to try and nip back and cut a bit more off the bottom at Emmas convenience and the receptionist (not Emma) has said she needs to re book and pay agin £40.00 she cant afford this and is now very upset. The receptionist did not ask Emma, just told my daughter no and to re book

Emma is a brilliant stylist and very knowledgeable on best colour/highlight options. I was recommended to see Emma as my normally healthy walm blond hair had become almost white and in poor condition due to over bleaching. Emma offered really useful advice and managed to get my hair colour exactly right. Very happy with the cut too.

JJ does my hair and is always very pleasant and accommodating.
Unfortunately yesterday my experience in the Salon was extremely disappointing due to a very ignorant member of staff, named in this review. She definitely needs much more training on customer service as a starting point. Her attitude is almost as is she gets to pick and choose who she wants to speak to.
The stylists were short staffed and run off their feet, hence the salon was very untidy, yet she just stood there - completely oblivious, with a miserable face.
It's all about hospitality and social skills!
... not to forget teamwork. She has a lot to learn.

About us

Our Saks Poulton salon offers hair in the heart of the beautiful town of Poulton-le-Fylde. Specialising in all aspects of hairdressing including having stylists at L’Oréal Colour degree levels. We also provide Raccoon hair extensions, bridal hair and luxury L’Oréal Professionnel hair treatments.

Cancellation policy: Although we understand you may need to cancel or reschedule from time to time, we’ll need at least 48 hours’ notice (and 7 days for bridal). If only 24 hours’ notice is given a 50% charge will apply. For cancellations made on the day full payment will be required. Sometimes customers just don’t turn up so we really appreciate your help and understanding with this.
