About us

We are a gender-neutral salon and are very proud to say it! We kicked this dream of ours off in 2010 and here we are. Having a good time, and producing beautiful hair is what we are all about!

Our fabulous team of stylists have over 100 years combined experience and it shows. Whilst in our salon you are our guest, and we will make sure your visit is like no other salon visit you have ever had before. Firstly, you will get what you want and not what your stylist wants. If you need advice or guidance…no problem!

Short hair, long hair and anywhere in between you are in very safe hands. We cover all aspects of hairdressing, however where we excel is colour. Balayage colouring, ombre colouring, highlights, lowlights, root fade, free hand painting, ‘Manic Panic’ colouring, colour correction we do it all…and just love doing it!

Our salon has been specifically designed and built from an empty shell by us for you to enjoy. Air conditioning, fresh air ventilation, WI-FI, state of the art sound system, led lighting, bespoke furniture and seating, comfortable and modern washrooms, oh and the best bit…we have a fully stocked bar as well as an Italian coffee machine producing every single cup from fresh beans. Coming to the hairdressers should be an amazing experience and one where you can wind down and relax…so let us look after you in luxury. We pride ourselves in our warm, friendly and inclusive environment we offer here.

We are East Kilbride’s official and only stockists of the acclaimed ‘Morrocanoil’ brand and use nothing but industry leading and proven brands, such as ‘OLAPLEX’, ‘Manic Panic’, ‘evo FABULOSO PRO’ and ‘It’s a ten haircare’. We also work directly with ‘Beauty Works’ to provide the best Russian, Mongolian and Indian remy hair extensions and weaves available to us.

I love this salon, all staff friendly and professional. They are chatty and obviously enjoy working there.
Got my colour done by Judy who was great and listened to what I wanted with great results. I always opt for Olaplex as I am in my 60's and my hair is pretty dry.
However, I find paying £102 for colour, treatment and blow dry a little exessive. Sorry but that is why I opted to have my hair cut elswhere which I hate to do but just can't justify paying over £130 per visit.

Having previously spent a small fortune on various hair studios only to walk out disappointed, I booked myself into 1302 based on the reviews. From the moment I walked in, I was given clear honest advice in what colour could be done with strand tests/ patch tests undertaken. I was absolutely delighted with the cut and colour Karly done - a complete transformation and could not believe the difference the opalex? treatment had made to my hair. The ladies in the studio made it a fun friendly environment and I was well looked after - especially loving the head massage!! Cannot recommend highly enough!

I have used 1302 a few times before and always had a fantastic service! Today again all the girls go above and beyond to make sure you are well looked after through your whole salon visit. It was my first time meeting Judy and she was fantastic! I used to dread going to the hair dressers but I love going here. Some people have said it is a bit expensive, I dont think so and you definitely get what you pay for. Everything is top quality

Great. Really friendly staff and they squeezed me in when they were busy. Only thing is that 26.50 is just a wee bit dear for my haircut. Not that it wasn't a really good cut. It was but I could get a 100 quid hair cut and it still wouldn't turn me into Brad Pitt. Maybe as a suggestion, you could consider a resident barber with a more barber price for a quick hair cut. Maybe that's not the road you're looking to go down. That's cool. Being honest, I usually spend £10 including a tip. This is by no means a complaint. It's just a classy place. I'd come in again for a treat and a Peroni. As I said, really nice staff, nice salon and a good hair cut! X

About us

We are a gender-neutral salon and are very proud to say it! We kicked this dream of ours off in 2010 and here we are. Having a good time, and producing beautiful hair is what we are all about!

Our fabulous team of stylists have over 100 years combined experience and it shows. Whilst in our salon you are our guest, and we will make sure your visit is like no other salon visit you have ever had before. Firstly, you will get what you want and not what your stylist wants. If you need advice or guidance…no problem!

Short hair, long hair and anywhere in between you are in very safe hands. We cover all aspects of hairdressing, however where we excel is colour. Balayage colouring, ombre colouring, highlights, lowlights, root fade, free hand painting, ‘Manic Panic’ colouring, colour correction we do it all…and just love doing it!

Our salon has been specifically designed and built from an empty shell by us for you to enjoy. Air conditioning, fresh air ventilation, WI-FI, state of the art sound system, led lighting, bespoke furniture and seating, comfortable and modern washrooms, oh and the best bit…we have a fully stocked bar as well as an Italian coffee machine producing every single cup from fresh beans. Coming to the hairdressers should be an amazing experience and one where you can wind down and relax…so let us look after you in luxury. We pride ourselves in our warm, friendly and inclusive environment we offer here.

We are East Kilbride’s official and only stockists of the acclaimed ‘Morrocanoil’ brand and use nothing but industry leading and proven brands, such as ‘OLAPLEX’, ‘Manic Panic’, ‘evo FABULOSO PRO’ and ‘It’s a ten haircare’. We also work directly with ‘Beauty Works’ to provide the best Russian, Mongolian and Indian remy hair extensions and weaves available to us.
