1302 Hair Design East Kilbride, Glasgow

It was my first visit to the salon so I decided to pick a graduate stylist as they offer a 20% discount. I was very pleased they could give me an appointment this week as thought might have been a few weeks wait as they are a busy salon. On arrival I called before going in as a few people arrived at the same time and only 1 allowed into reception to get gowned up so I waited outside for a minute before going in. Kerry was lovely and friendly as were the other staff like owner Maria and Kayleigh on reception who both complimented my hair. Kerry understood my hair and knew best to dry straight with some serum on a wet day to avoid any frizz. I enjoy treating myself so don't go on a regular basis to get my hair cut so was impressed at the relaxing and friendly atmosphere. Hygiene was first class with everyone wearing masks, plastic gowns, hand sanitizer and wash stations and chairs sanitized after every use. I felt very safe. Very happy and I will be back xx

Amazing! My hair feels so soft and looks so incredibly shiny! The cut is exactly what I wanted and the colour is insane! The way it's been blended and how it sits in my hair is more than I could ever ask for, I'm so pleased with it and just want to show it off to everyone! I honestly can't wait to come back again and ramp my hair up to even brighter shades!

The salon was highly recommended by friends when I was in despair!! I am so glad I followed their advice and booked an appointment. My hair has never looked better. Kerry is a perfectionist and spends time making sure everything is just right. I couldn’t be happier.

This was my first appointment with 1302 design and I can honestly say I will 100% be back again. The staff are all so friendly and make you feel as comfortable as possible. Karly done a lovely balyage for me and I have absolutely fallen in love with my hair!

Great cut as always. Wonderful advice (I never know what I actually want until Maria works it out for me)! The atmosphere is always really friendly and I always enjoy my head massage.

Everyone at 1302 is just wonderful. They are a fantastic team who have all gelled (see what I did there? Lol!) beautifully and who go out of their way to make each and every client feel welcome.

Nadine, who is one of the kindest souls you will meet, has been looking after me recently and has done a wonderful job with my hair; I can’t wait to see what she does at my next appointment.

Katlyn and Maria have also worked their magic on my hair in the past and I can honestly say that you will not be disappointed with any of the stylists - they truly are the best!

Special thanks to all of you for making me feel so welcome and another “thank you” has to go to Vinnie and Kayleigh who always go out of their way to have a chat. Everyone makes time for you and you never feel rushed or uncomfortable/unsafe, which is even more important with the current Covid-19 restrictions.

My mum and sister are also regular visitors to the salon and we can all, hand on heart, say that we have never been disappointed with any of the work done by any of the team.

If you haven’t been to 1302 before, get booked in - you won’t regret it!!!!

I have not been to the salon since it moved from the village and it was so nice that Maria still remembered me.

I was very lucky to get Maria to cut my hair as well, don’t think I will be letting anyone else cut my hair from now on, as I love it, thank you so much Maria.

Having not had my hair coloured since I was young I was looking for a change and not only is Nadine an excellent hair stylist she made me feel completely at ease and was extremely friendly! The measures the salon has in place at the moment are fab!

Kayleigh at front of house is very welcoming and makes sure everyone sanitises their hands on entry.The salon is spotless,extremely high standards,I feel very safe coming here.

Had a really lovely experience at 1302 Hair Design, the staff couldn't be more helpful, I was taken almost immediately to get my hair washed and received a very soothing head massage, then as it was my first time, Nadia spent time talking about what style I would like, she new exactly what would suit me and I was delighted with the result. This was my first visit to the salon. Kayleigh was very welcoming at the front desk and very clear about the process. It’s good to walk into somewhere new and feel at ease . With a great friendly fun atmosphere. My hair was done by Kerry who had a massive challenge on her hands with my very thick hair.! Hannah was a superb help to Kerry. It’s been a long time since I felt amazed about my hair, it is fabulous, the colour is amazing and feels great. I can’t thank Kerry enough for doing such a brilliant job and for talking me through each step. I love the Olaplex treatment I had it has given a beautiful finish to my hair. What a wonderful salon with great staff that Maria and Vinny have that all work so well together. Thank you for making my day.

Had such a brilliant time at the salon. All the girls are so lovely and attentive.

I was super anxious, having not had a proper cut, colour or style in my hair for a few years, but was made so at ease by all the girls in the salon! Such a clean, friendly and modern salonnand Judy worked an absolute miracle on my dead and dry box dyed black hair, to bring it to the most gorgeous, shiney and healthy firey copper colour! I can't thank her and all the girls enough for putting me at ease and working their magic! Highly recommend the salon and I won't be going anywhere else!

Kerry is a great stylist! We are on a journey to get my hair from a mix of salon and box dyed black to a more natural brown/blonde. After stripping it last month, Kerry did a balayage tonight to remove a colour band from previous box dye. We are well on our way to getting it perfect :). It’s always a great experience being in the salon, really lovely atmosphere and they all really know their stuff!

Fabulous first time visit! Nadine made me feel welcome from the moment I walked in the door. After a disastrous last haircut at another salon she spent a good amount of time assessing my hair and explaining what she needed to do to start to get it back to normal. Despite my time pressures she was calm, focused and did a fantastic job on my hair. I now have healthily bouncy hair again and feel confident and very happy with the results.

My first salon experience in about 15 years and im so glad I made the choice to book in. Kerry was my stylist who made me feel relaxed and confident enough to go for a big change. Having used black box dye for years and having damaged hair I left the salon over the moon with my dark balayage, clean cut and beach wave style. I absolutely love it. She explained all the olaplex products and the best way to keep my hair in great condition, definitely knows her stuff! All the girls were chatty and friendly on top of being very professional. Overall I had a fantastic experience and will most definitely be booking in again with confidence. Thanks so much kerry and the team, you are stars!! :)

I love 1302! Always feel so welcome! It was the first time Hannah had done my hair and she was great, I got a balayage and the colour she achieved was amazing! Hannah was so easy to talk to. All the extra measures that is in place are great regarding covid. Would highly recommend this salon. Hannah is going to be a fab stylist ❤️

Can’t rate 1302 and the staff high enough! Really friendly, knowledgable bunch and nothing’s too much of an ask for them! They have taken the covid measure seriously which is great to see as I know other places haven’t been great at sticking to the rules but it was really comforting to see Hygiene and safety precautions being followed appropriately. Kerry was fantastic, she was knowledgable and offered suggestions and was really friendly
Plus she made my hair look fantastic, can’t believe how healthy it now looks and feels!

Excellent Salon visit, Kerry gave a very thorough consultation on cut style & colour. Kate gave a very relaxing head massage & shampoo. Will definitely be returning to this Salon in 8 weeks for repeat experience. Loved it. Staff could not have been more courteous.
