We successfully ran the Canterbury salon for 44 years.However the Canterbury salon is now safely in the hands of the manager who had been running it for us, and is no longer part of our group. First time ever did not enjoy my visit , it wasn’t the usual experience or atmosphere in the shop all staff appeared not them selves at all , very somber and disappointing, that’s a first I’ve always loved my weekly visit !

Excellent experience with Sharan who is very knowledgable and seems to enjoy her work. Patient at my request for layering the hair, she did extremely well. I will certainly return.

My sons girlfriend decided to cut my sons hair with garden shears. When she realised she messed up ,cloud nine was called literally before closing, bless their hearts they stayed open and rescued my son ,to stay open and rescue him when everyone has homes to go home to ,shows how much commitment they have to the business. So a big shout out to the staff that stayed on and helped out

Every week I leave 100% better then when I went in , Sharan is a class of her own , Katie following in her footsteps and all the girls a joy to be around , but it’s more then a hairdressers to me , I have come to regard the staff as friends , no matter what we always find something to laugh at , I can forget about work and relax , nothing else matters for that couple of hours , doesn’t matter how bad things are we all need a place of sanctuary and that’s mine , ! Never mind the price of food , heating or fuel , I’d happily go without all those if I ever had to choose , I wouldn’t cancel my hair appointment!!!
And once they have perfected the art of tea making , it will be even better !! 😂😂
Oh and did I tell you they also act as my PA’s

Love the place, being going for 11 years now, grate. Service, grate prices, everyone talks to each other very friendly atmosphere it’s like being round your friends house. Wouldn’t ever go anywhere else.

I moved from London to Whitstble a few months ago and one of my main concerns was - would I find a great hairdresser? I needn't have worried- Katie is talented in all aspects of hairdressing- colour, cutting and blow drying- she takes time to understand what you want and delivers every time. The salon is a calm haven and the team are super friendly- I would highly recommend Cloud Nine as a go to for a great hair experience! xx

Was very disappointed with colouring has lots of yellowing in places. And also ruined an expensive dress with purple toner. Been going here for many years but sad do say that was my last visit. No follow up re damage to me dress. My partner has his hair cut and left salon with wet tee shirt. Shame as I lived going there.

She hopes to find a time to suit you, that she can discuss what has happened and hopes to find a solution that you would find acceptable. It was quick and easy to get an appointment and my stylist was lovely. The salon is welcoming, relaxed and clean and it was nice to just sit and relax. I was extremely happy with my highlights and the straightening afterwards. Would definitely recommend!

So anyway what I was going to say no matter how hard it gets or how miserable the outlook will be , I will still be at the hairdressers every single week throughout it all , we all need and deserve an escape , and that’s mine , it’s not a luxury , it’s a therapy , it recharges me keeps me going , thankfully I’m not one of many who will choose to eat or keep warm coz I’d rather starve then do my own hair !!!!

The stylist cut my hair way too short and looked nothing like the pictures I showed her. Word of advice to hairdressers. If you talked less you might concentrate better on what you're doing and do a better job. Really unhappy with the result.

Always does a great style with my hair type and very welcoming. I have a severe allergy to hair dye, which the staff understand that’s why I said no to to the next question.
Whilst hair colour allergy is thankfully rare, they can produce serious reactions and should never be treated lightly.
We are really pleased however that our team deliver a result that you are happy with.

It's important to me that my highlights are a certain shade & Laura understands this; the colour and overall job is exactly what I like and lasts well between appointments. Everyone is friendly & relaxed. I bought shampoo & conditioner (last appointment) that is a perfect addition to maintain the ash colour and leaves my hair soft & manageable without being weighed down (Neal & Wolf - not too expensive) . Happy to rebook my appointment every time 👍🙂
