I just had a wonderful morning getting my very first balayage treatment done by Sammy and the very lovely Lauren patiently washing massaging and adding toner to my hair until I had the perfect exactly what I wanted look. Would go there for my treatments over and over again.
So accommodating as I wear hijab... seldom have I found a salon this accommodating-

I have been returning to Saks at kings Hill for more than six years, with the same stylist (Mary) before this I think the longest I stayed at a salon was about a year. Mary really gets what I want, she also shares her own ideas, sometimes we do it sometimes not (micro fringe) but she’s always honest about whether something would work. Had colour work, extensions and cuts, I can honestly say I have loved every visit, it’s a bit like visiting a friend. The girls/boys who wash your hair are intuitive, they understand if you want to talk or not, which I really appreciate.

With a very busy life my time at Saks with Mary is always a moment to relax.

Michelle was very welcoming and fully explained the massage having brought me a tea which was much appreciated. The treatment room was ready, warm and comfy. After the treatment Michelle brought me a glass of water and i did not feel that i was being rushed out. Certainly will book another treatment.

Highly recommend Emma for waxing. Was as painless as these things can be. Lovely friendly service and great job.

I was invited back to strip the Ash toner out of my hair at 12.00 today, which did lift some of the Ash out but left a block of colour looking Pinky orange and dull. So was asked to come back to see senior stylist, ***** who was very nice and apologetic and tried to break up with highlights and darker colour. The result is still doesn't look what I wanted, I just blonde highlights.. still a dull orangey, pink and my skin tone loom grim! So been advised to leave for a week and let the Ash toner wash it's way out and try again. The 2 colourists were lovely today but, I have to say I am at a loss of what to do now..I paid £170 and have a weird shade of hair (deffo not highlights) that looks worse than it did. I've never had a salon disaster before in 25 years of having highlights! I have given up and afternoon and evening and am exhausted really. It was lucky I was off work with flu bug. I just want blonde highlights...so will see how the washing goes this week..

I asked for blonde highlights and got a dark mouse blonde block colour. Was told it was the toner. Charged £170 and told to come back tomorrow for a detox. Hopefully it will be rectified?!

So, so pleased to have Nicci back in the salon. Excellent service as always and always leave feeling 10 times better than when I went in! (Oh, and my eyebrows and nails look fab!).

I love Mary, I always feel like a weight has been lifted when she does my hair. It's always a great cut and gorgeous colour. And it's always a warm and friendly atmosphere throughout the salon, everyone there is so nice. Can't recommend this place highly enough. Five stars across the board!
