Fantastic blow dry with mehmet on Friday for my friends wedding!
The service I received from start to finish was second to none.
I had a fantastic neck & shoulder massage followed by one of the best shampoos I've ever had with Beth.
Then Mehmet took so much care and attention over my hair it lasted all day and felt amazing. I had so many complements that day it was lovely.
I will definately be sending all my friends and family along!

I am a hairdresser phobic , I'd rather go to the dentist than have my haircut however since meeting Rhona I am beginning to relax and actually enjoy my salon experience! I have rebooked in advance which is a first . The WC team go out of their way to make you welcome and to understand what you do and don't like ! My hair looks amazing and I highly recommend Russ,Rhona and the staff . Thank you

Just had my first taste of this salon! Went in for a blow dry and had a lovely complimentary head and shoulder massage with essential oils, wonderful styling and an offer to touch up my make up on departure...so thoughtful and professional. I've decided to rebook immediately for colour and cut!! And I can't wait!! Great Avesda products too...

Always very friendly and very professional, they have got that mix spot on. Made to feel welcome and special the moment you walk through the door . Sometimes salons can be trying too hard to be funky and up-beat which makes you feel overwhelmed and itching to get out , here, it's a little respite from all that nonsense! Highly recommended, been coming here for seven years and now they're stuck with me !

I came to salon upon recommendation by my friend. Being pregnant and having fine hair I wanted to use natural products where possible & find someone that would be able to look after my fine hair & keep it natural looking when cololured.

I had half head highlights with Rona and was extremely pleased with the results! Not only does the colour look great, it looks very natural and still feels great!

The little add extras such as hand, head massage & finishing touch of lip gloss makes you feel very special and pampered - will denitely be back!

Always attentive and professional. The only place I go nowadays and Frankee is the best! Absolutely recommend.

I visited the lovely Joe Johnson yesterday & what he has done with my hair is just amazing - I'm so happy ???? The colour is so cleverly placed yet really vibrant at the same time, he's a real magician with his colour techniques & the cut is sassy & swishy - thank you so much! I look forward to my next visit. I just had some grey highlights put in my hair and am delighted with the result. Also the staff were extremely helpful, friendly and efficient and made me feel pampered. Even though I live in London I will come back here.

I've been visiting William Charles since I moved to the area. The preliminary shoulders and neck massage is sublime but yesterday's hair cut from the gorgeous Frankie was nothing short of delicious. The atmosphere is conducive to relaxing almost to the point of transporting. And then Frankie took four months of hair from my head and about twenty years. I just let her go to town and her magic scissors shaped me into a new bloke. I really didn't want to leave except for the pressing need of my teenage daughter's approval. "Wow! Cool Dad!" That's good as it gets.
Would I recommend them. Hell yes. With bells on. They are a first class, contemporary, cool salon in a sleepy Kentish Town.

I came in feeling exhausted , frumpy and old and left two hours later feeling like a princess . Thank you Rona and alll your team for making me feel great . I love my new hair xxxx

Rachel provided a consultation and good service. Was very happy with my hair colour and cut and advice for hair care. The salon experience was very good and provided a hand massage while waiting. All this made the salon visit very relaxing and enjoyable.

Had a great pamper thank you Rona and a big thank you to Franky for fitting George-ann in for her hair cut. We both are over the moon love my colours xx I'd give you all more than 5 if I could.

Entering the salon feeling as usual under pressure and a bit fractious and dowdy; I was soon soothed by the William-Charles team; Latte, Head and shoulder massage. Then a fabulous hair cut and bang on trend blow dry by the enormously skilled Rona.
I left with beautiful hair; feeling fabulous, sexy and with a twinkle in my eye. This is my experience of the William-Charles effect.

And when I returned home my husband said I looked stunning- particularly the blow dry! And our 11yr old son thought my hair was awesome.

Based on reviews I went armed with iPad photos and magazine pictures to ensure colour I wanted and cut would be crystal clear. After a bill of £216 I left saying I needed more "warmth" as in the salon I looked very mousy. Next morning I cried.The gold/caramel/honey highlights were non existent and instead a dull salt and pepper ashy mousey helmet sat on my head. My email to this salon on Wednesday has had no response . The staff are charming and attentive but for me the results even had a friend ask if I had "had a go" myself. I shall now buy a supermarket colour to try to lift the dreary colour and use another salon to give me what i had stressed I wanted..DARK ROOTS/RICH WARM SLICES.
I did tell ***** that I had in the past, received similar colours to those she suggested for the roots and these had resulted in a pinky plum colour against the scalp. Of course I now have exactly what I predicted and ***** said "next time" we could go a couple of tones darker and also add some warmth (which is what I paid for at that appointment)
Utterly disappointed and look like I have had wood ash combed through my hair. Fair skinned this makes me look ill and as am now going through as IBD attack, pretty cross about the whole experience. When I wrote the morning after I did expect a response (of some sort). Instead, not a thing. Not what I call professional though others may just accept this from a suburban salon.

I have been going to William Charles for about 15yrs.
Always great service, always great colour and cut. They all make you feel extreme welcome, and nothing is too much trouble. It's also a great team and you can tell all the staff love Rona and Russell. Rona will work in my hair as long as it takes so she and I are completely happy. Would never go anywhere else. Every time I have my hair done there I come out feeling great!!

Rachel did a fab job and was very personable and welcoming as was everyone.
The massage was very welcome and I was well supplied with tea.
All in all a very positive experience for my first time at the salon. I will be back in May for Rachel to work her magic again.

Excellent experience and extremely helpful staff plus lovely complimentary additions all helped to make this first trip to William-Charles really enjoyable. I would certainly go again and would have no hesitation in recommending them

However the biggest plus was that they are dog friendly!

Yesterday I went into William Charles and from start to finish I was made to feel truly welcome. I had my hair transformed in a few hours from an over coloured black, which was gently cleansed out to a gorgeous copper/brown. Followed by a botanical treatment which has made my hair feel amazing. I feel back to 'me' with my new hair. All the staff looked after me so well and I loved the experience. Rona, Russell, Joe and team really understand your feelings and the true meaning of customer service. See you in 4 weeks

This salon can tame my hair! Beautiful Avesta products sooth and calm, and I always have a good cut which = compliments. Friendly atmosphere, helpful staff.
