After my appointment I went shopping and 2 people stopped me and said what a beautiful haircut and asked me where I went a good endorsement for Margot and the Chapel

Having my hair coloured by Callum is a lovely experience as he is so friendly and fun. He knows his colour and always gets a great result. His head massages are amazing too :-)

Coming to The Chapel to have my hair cut every 3 months is a real treat from the minute you walk through the door, the little fruit and the ginger shots/coffee and treats. All perfectly finished off with the most wonderful hair wash and fantastic hair cut by James. I could stay all day….

I had an excellent cut (wonderful feathering) and when I washed my hair myself, it still looked good.
The atmosphere was friendly and relaxing, with many little touches that made me feel pampered
I will be back!

Very pleased with my cut, really enjoyed Kirsty’s company, will definitely return for repeat cut and choose Kirsty again, not sure why she’s not on the list of stylists. Loved the ginger shot and apple snack, classy addition to the session.

Margot has been my hairdresser for over a year now and I've enjoyed every visit and been very happy with the result. She is a lovely girl and a very good member of The Chapel team.

He cuts brilliantly. He answers all my hair questions politely and makes helpful suggestions regarding other options I hadn't considered. He doesn't run late for my appointments. He always manages to finish my cut within the allotted time frame. He's reliable and a nice person. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.

I feel I always give Ian a challenge but he always wins! My latest hairstyling was for my son's wedding the following day. It was really lovely and gave me that extra boost and confidence to enjoy the day.

My hair is very important to me, it always has been. I know with Ian it will be in good hands and I always leave the salon smiling. He puts so much thought into the shaping and styling and I have so many people comment on how nice my hair is. Of course I let them know where I go!

Pietro has cut both mine and my daughter’s hair this week and we couldn’t be happier. My hair is very dry and heat damaged and he has managed to breathe life back into it with a very clever cut that hasn’t had to remove all my length, something that definitely concerned me.

Callum is a genuine, thoughtful and talented young hair stylist. He clearly loves his job and is always attentive, positive and invested in making my hair look great and me feel great as a result. He's particularly good at listening to what I want to achieve in terms of my look, and I feel we are a team in that regard. Lovely young man and he's bound to go far.

I had my first colour experience at The Chapel today and am terribly disappointed with the result. My hair has been coloured for many years and recently had gone very blonde so I wanted to tone it down and hopefully go back to my more natural colour of light brown/blonde.I explained this to Ian and also to the man who does solely colour at the salon. Both seemed happy with their suggestion to add colour but leave the ends of my hair blonde and would blend it in. We agreed on one shade darker. The result is miserable. Far too dark and no sign of any lightness in the colour - the blonde has vanished. I am going to a special wedding tomorrow and feel I want to wear a bag over my head. For the first time in the years of colouring my hair, it looks dyed and most unnatural. I cannot believe that a man who specialises solely in colour could have agreed to this.
I think Ian realised it was too dark and that I was not happy. It’s expensive to have these things done but you never mind as long as you are pleased with the result.

Elsie is an exceptional hairdresser and I won’t let anyone else cut my hair!

Just popped in for a fringe trim which was great. Rhys has styled my hair wonderfully, so easy to manage myself which is marvellous.

I have been coming to this salon for years, and every appointment has been great. Elsie is very talented, and the whole team make you feel welcome. Very relaxing environment.

As usual, a very warm welcoming, calm environment - I always recommend The Chapel and in particular Scott, who is a hair magician, to my friends. It is a bit pricey but I keep coming back so it must be worth it!

Sarah is a wonderful empathetic stylist and colourist who always listens and delivers exactly the cut best suited for my curls. I look forward to having my hair done now , whereas in the past (in other salons) having my hair styled was a dreaded chore .

From the moment Leticia introduced herself to me I felt completely relaxed and in good hands. Leticia took her time to ask me questions and she really listened to my needs. I have incredibly curly hair and a lot of it. Undaunted Leticia took me through her thoughts and did not rush me at all. A divine hair wash / head massage followed by a great hair cut! The added bonus of cool fresh water and a healthy ginger shot whilst I was being pampered was the cherry on top. I am already looking forward to my next visit!

I spoke with Ian at the start of my appointment about a big change in style. Ian was knowledgable and really considered how my hair sat. A self-claimed perfectionist, Ian was able to tame my thick hair and produce exactly the style I was looking for without the usual action of stripping my hair endlessly with thinning scissors. He worked with my natural hair and even gave advice on long term care and varying styles. I’m so pleased I booked with Ian, and wouldn’t hesitate to do so again when I next need a cut. There was no pressure to book again within a tight timeframe which I really appreciated, and it made me feel more comfortable.

I’ve tried a few stylists at the salon, while all have been very talented, what I’ve liked about Elsie is that she really just gets it. She takes time to understand what i want, but also brings her experience to make sure that the adjustment to my haircut suit my hair type, my facial features, etc. It feels like a very tailored approach and I Can fully trust that she’ll give me a result I’ll be happy with.

For the Salon, I’ve always really liked the atmosphere at the Chapel. The environment doesn’t feel like a franchise or conveyor belt of clients. The hair products smell great, love the attention to detail with the healthy snacks and drinks, I’ve always had good interactions with various members of the team.

Always listening to what I want, very attentive and very skilled. Also gentle!
