The Chapel Hairdressers - Tunbridge Wells

As always, totally pleased with my cut, blow dry and this time colour also. It's very special having hair done at The Chapel - it's like no other salon. All the staff are friendly and helpful - offering every type of hot drink, ginger&orange healthy shots, and as I had an afternoon appointment today, i was even offered wine!!

I find it a relaxing environment from the moment I enter The Chapel. I’m greeted with a smile and offered a beverage in the comfy surroundings before seeing Nina.
Nina understands my thoughts on how I would like my hair to look and always creates a fantastic look. A good giggle, great conversations and professional. 10/10 to the team, especially Nina.

I had such an amazing experience with Nina! I really wanted to focus on embracing my naturally wavy/curly hair and have it cut and styled in a way that actually worked with my hair and suited it better.

For the first time ever, I feel like I’ve found someone who completely understood my hair and genuinely exceeded my expectations. Nina was so knowledgeable about wavy/curly hair and knew exactly how to cut and style it in a way that I absolutely loved.

She was also so helpful, lovely and welcoming throughout the whole appointment. I left feeling so happy with my hair and, for the first time, like I’ve found someone I’d absolutely choose to do my hair again. I couldn’t recommend Nina enough and will definitely be booking with her again! 🤍

Leticia is a friendly and proficient stylist who listens to my requests on colour and always creates an excellent finish. I am very happy with her skills and personality.

Rhys is the best, I cannot express how happy I am with my haircut. I often get complimented on my hair by strangers, it always looks great, the cut is so good that it always looks great right up yo my next appointment.

Sarah is excellent- a fantastic hairstylist who I have been with for over a decade. I wouldn’t want anybody else!
Some feedback on the Chapel- the prices have risen considerably over the years. Sourcing shampoos from Italy/ artists for new artwork is good but does this increase the prices. Whilst a great venue is important- in this challenging financial climate- competitive prices and not too frequent price rises are very important factors.

What a wonderful experience from start to finish.

The salon itself is set in such a unique building and has a real sense of character and style. The staff were incredibly warm, friendly and welcoming, and the whole experience felt considered rather than simply being “just a haircut.”

Even the wash basin area was fabulous — almost like stepping into a sophisticated nightclub — and the hair wash itself was wonderfully relaxing.

Pietro is a genuinely interesting character and an absolute talent. He cut and blow-dried my hair beautifully — I walked out feeling like a film star.

All the thoughtful little touches made the visit feel particularly special. I was offered complimentary mint, lemon and cucumber infused water, beautifully served in a crystal-cut glass, as well as a ginger and turmeric shot — such a lovely and unexpected touch.

It is rare to find somewhere that combines excellent hairdressing with such attention to atmosphere, hospitality and detail.
I left feeling beautifully looked after, completely relaxed and, most importantly, very special.

What can I say…. Pietro is a complete marvel. He understands hair and really that’s it.
I’ve fine straight hair but lots of it not only is the cut great on leaving but as it grown it still looks great and keeps its shape. He also has a great personality and makes every visit a pleasure.

I couldn’t wish for a better hair salon experience than I get when I visit The Chapel for my regular slot with James. He, and all the staff I have met are exceptionally friendly, professional, engaging, and fun.
You get a lovely welcome and are offered a choice of refreshments in the waiting area - which is very chic but also cosy.
James is a fabulous hairdresser - the best I’ve had in decades!
I wouldn’t go anywhere else!

Callum has been absolutely brilliant since he stared cutting my hair. I will really miss him at The Chapel.

Well…..I will try and keep this short but I am just blown away by Kirsty’s colour transformation she did on me today.

She listens to every single thing I want to achieve and what I really like is that I feel so comfortable in telling her what I want to achieve without feeling silly because sometimes I do feel silly with what I say.

I absolutely love everything about the whole experience. To the lovely warm banter the staff have between one another, to the lovely hospitality and goodies that I am treated to but most of all the amazing miracle that Kirsty has performed.
