As a woman of a certain age it's difficult to get a cut that isn't going to make me look like my Mother or Granmother but also know I can't do thirty something cut either.
Having been blessed with thick hair and the menopause being extra I can't do heavy especially in hot weather.
Jen was lovely, acknowledged me as soon as I entered. Listen to my background and what I wanted. As I do reenactments, extras and dancing 1940s/50s I needed a new style I can still style.
Tea and a posh biscuit, stylist chit chat and hay presto. Thanks Jen, compliments all night.

I was fortunate to be recommended this salon by one of my friends. I was very nervous about attending but some reassuring texts from Jen, the manager, quelled my nerves. Izzie was AMAZING. So friendly, explained steps and what she wanted to do. She explained her flair for creativity which was lovely to hear. I asked for a stylist that was confident cutting short styles. Although my stylist was very nice she was not at all confident. She cut my hair far too short at the back then panicked and asked another stylist in the salon to help her do the sides and front. I was very uncomfortable and have ended up with what I’d call a boyish haircut that is far away from the pictures I showed them. It looks like she is a trainee, not an experienced stylist. I now have to wait a long while until it grows so I can have a proper shape cut into it. I also had to pay £45 for a haircut I don’t like.
