I have very short hair. I had wash and cut and blow dry , took total of 35 minutes and was charged £57? I would understand the cost if I had long hair as it would take a lot longer. Other hair dresser offer a cut price for short hair.

The new salon is lovely and upstairs is very spacious with plenty of natural light. The staff are all friendly and polite. I feel at ease from the moment I walk in.
I have been going to Sharon for a couple of years now and she is fantastic. The cut, highlights/lowlights and styling are always spot on. Sharon is a very skilled hairstylist - she listens well and the whole experience is very collaborative and enjoyable. I walk out feeling respected and appreciated with great hair!

My sister and I have just left after having Massages, I had Becci and it was such a lovely experience, she gave me a brilliant relaxing massage and we had a great conversation which put me at ease and my sister had Claire who helped ease her knots and loosened her muscles

After months of tension and pain in my back I visited becci for the first time. On arrival she is so warming and makes you feel comfortable straight away. Becci is exceptional at what she does, I have hunted high and low for a deep tissue massage in Kent and know one has come close to Becci. I highly recommend.

I had my hair done by Jamie and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. I had balayage, toner and treatment and a decent chop to the length! I was unsure going in what tone of blonde to go for, length etc. Jamie recommended what he thinks would suit my face best and explained why. I couldn’t be happier with how lovely my hair looks and feels and of course his recommendations were totally right. Not only am I delighted with my new hair but for me, I can be really nervous in a new salon. Well not here. Jamie is so lovely and made me feel so comfortable straight away. I really enjoyed chatting away with him, he even recommended lots of local spots for me to try as I’m new to the area. My experience was a 10/10 and I can’t wait to go back!

I booked a deep tissue massage with Becci to tackle the various aches and pains associated with being in your 40s but still trying to exercise like you’re in your 20s!

Becci quickly identified the problem areas with no prompting and set to work erasing the knots and relieving the tension.

I won’t lie: it was pain followed by instant release so well worth it. Despite being of slight stature, Becci can deliver some serious force!

Parking was easy and the new venue is well designed.

Thoroughly recommended.

I’ve gone to Myles for a couple of years now and my hair went from short and damaged to long thick and healthy, I see him regularly and he always makes me feel so happy and confident when I leave. Such a great and friendly atmosphere in the salon too. Cant wait to come back ;)

I have been going here since they first opened in Herne Bay for many different treatments. No matter who I see or when I go, the service is always 10/10. I had a wonderful massage with Claire recently which I cannot fault. She made me feel welcomed , calmed and I was in professional hands.
I always get my hair cut here usually by Amy who again is so welcoming, proffesional and skilled!
Reception is always helpful and kind as is all the staff. All round a great and welcoming atmosphere in a professional Salon!

This is the fourth time I have seen Becci. I had a lash lift/tint and brow wax/tint. She is an absolute master of her craft. My lashes aren’t the easiest to work with and she has created miracles. They look long, curled and healthy and I always have so many compliments on them. She colour matches my eyebrows perfectly as well. I am so so happy. She creates a beautiful relaxing environment and talks you through everything. She is a credit to the Mettyear’s family. Thank you .

I had never been to Mettyear’s before but was recommended by my son’s girlfriend Amy. My stylist was called Callum and was great. He listened to what I wanted and corrected a previously done colour in my hair giving me the colour, height lights and cut I wanted . Really pleased. Will visit again. Thanks Callum. 👏👏

Very professional and friendly, was made to feel very comfortable. Waxing was done very quickly and efficiently.

I don’t visit very often, only when I’m due a haircut about twice a year, but when I do I get a bit of everything done and always keep coming back. Today was my 4th time at Mettyear in the past couple of years and I am just as satisfied as always, if not even more impressed as the new location made the experience feel very luxurious. I had my haircut done by Leah, who I always try to get booked with as she always gets it exactly right and I’m very happy with the cut and styling once again. Stavri and Claire were very kind and moved my appointments around to accommodate for my pregnancy. Stavri was very quick so I wasn’t in pain for long, and did a great job threading my eyebrows and upper lip. The maternity massage with Claire was very relaxing and pleasant, I was so sad when I had to leave!
Overall, I would definitely return for my next haircut and a pamper day.
