My stylist took great care of me. Loved the end result and really enjoyed the experience.

Went from blonde to brunette at the expert hands of Sarah. Showed her pictures of what I wanted and Sarah then mixed a unique colour using lots of shades. Sarah was very thorough when colouring my, very thick, hair and then blowed dried IT beautifully. Thank you so much Sarah

Had my hair restyled from long to short with a new colour. Wayne spent a lot of time checking that my hair type and hairline were suitable to my request. The actual cut is perfect and the colour complements it beautifully, for the first time ever the finished result is exactly like the picture I bought in. Couldn't be happier.

I had a tint re growth and cut and finish yesterday with Jenny and was really happy with the end result. Jenny is a great hairdresser and a really lovely girl, easy to chat with and very professional. I showed her a picture of a cut I liked and she replicated it exactly and have had some comments today. I also received a hand massage whilst the colour was on which was a lovely surprise. The salon is always inviting and you feel well looked after.

I was recently looking for a new hair salon as mine was getting expensive but I am very particular about how my hair is cut. I am extremely pleased with The Hairdressing Company in Hitchin, the staff are friendly, skilled and actually listen to what you ask for. I have now been twice and was very pleased on both occasions with my experience and the cut. The salon itself is clean, professional and beautifully decorated, plus the massage chairs while getting your hair washed are a lovely indulgence to the experience. I would and have already recommended this salon and my hairdresser Maggie multiple times. The prices are competitive but I believe you get what you pay for, great value.

Chynna has given me another lovely hair cut and a good gossip at the same time. Fabulous!

I moved to Hitchin recently and needed to find a new salon. As a long time devotee to Aveda products I was thrilled to learn of the local Hairdressing Company. I've had two appointments with Katy now for cuts and colouring and been totally satisfied. I'm pleased and relieved to found the quality and style I want from THC. Thank you.

Service very good. Staff attentive. Style went quite flat after walking out the salon. Would like the cut to retain its shape slightly better.

Always lovely to come into your salon. Very relaxed and friendly. Jenny is a fantastic hairdresser and I am always pleased woth my hair when she has finished.

Lovely colour. Wanted a trim to tidy my usual bob (which was far longer at the front than at the back) and came out with a really short bob which is all the same length and not at all similar to what i walked in with. I had a different stylist for colour and cut and whilst I had a consultation for the colour I didn't for the cut. Might sound dramatic but I don't want to leave the house as I feel really ugly. Moral of the story...don't let anyone cut your hair without doing a consultation.

Wayne really listened well to the descriptions offered for the type of cut I wanted. His understanding of hair types and styles that suit have never left me feeling disappointed. Always feel confident walking out of the salon. The style lasts a long time and grows into something very manageable.

I am a hairdressers 'nightmare'... I don't really have a specific 'hair cut', I don't really do hair full atop if I'm honest... and I only go to the hairdressers when it's been far too long or just feel lile it...
I just felt like it today! I really like this salon in Hitchin. Nice people, goid music, lovely hair products (heavenly smell in my opinion)

I first went to The Hairdressing Company in Hitchin a couple of weeks after it first opened and Jenny has been cutting my hair ever since! She is brilliant and I always get lots of compliments on my hairstyle and how well it is cut. Highly recommend this salon.

Maggie was really good and enjoyable

I have been using this salon for over year after having used a different salon and experiencing a hair disaster. I'm always very well looked after, Jenny is a fab hairdresser who knows what she's doing and always cuts my hair to a great standard. They also have massage chairs in front of the wash basins! Heavenly!

The hair cut I received was very good as was the service. I would like to see a few facilities for children for those customers who need to bring them and particully as you offer child hair cuts. I did not find your salon child friendly.
